Sucks that we lost Stay with Me and The Window so soon. I think Sea Change is really underrated and I’m surprised it didn’t make the album.

The difficulty I am having between picking on this album shows just how special this album is. Dustin's voice is impeccable across this entire album. I think it may actually be my favourite Thrice full length.

Oh jeez, didn't expect Hurricane or Black Honey to be given so much trouble. Esp Black Honey since it's not even going up against one of the strongest tracks. Death From Above I get......

 

I see a lot of people who have Whistleblower in their favourites so I thought Black Honey would get crushed. And I thought Hurricane would crush Death From Above. Also Sea Change giving a fight is a nice surprise!

 

I think I just overplayed Black Honey when it came out and now it sounds just like a generic Thrice song to me. Still love it, especially the lyrics, but it’s not one of my favorite. The lyrics on this album are some of Dustin’s best. I’m all for political Thrice.

 

Wait, it's DFA I always see in top tracks, not Whistleblower. I mixed them up.

Don't get me wrong, Whistleblower is a good song but top 5 from this album are Hurricane, Black Honey, Long Defeat, Stay with Me and The Window (in no order) right?

Yep. If I have to give an order, I'd say Hurricane, Stay With Me, The Window, Long Defeat, Black Honey.

 

Whistleblower is definitely better than Black Honey smdh

 

Agree in almost every way except lyrics. Whistleblower feels so simplistic while Black Honey has some fantastic nuance/imagery.

 

Oh man, I think the Black Honey lyrics are so clunky considering Dustin's usual level, especially in the chorus.
