I miss when I used to watch angry joe videos all the time.

I don’t even know why I follow him now.

 

In my defense, I just thought the video was funny. Wasn’t expecting all this to happen.

 

Lmao, wtf? Didn’t realize there was all this vitriol going on in here over a Dunkey video, get over it. Who gives a flying fuck??? I have enjoyed my fair share of Assassins Creed games, and I’d play Origins if given the opportunity, but it’s not like they are devoid of criticism and, more importantly, it’s just a funny video. I watch Red Letter Media all the time, not because I always agree with their takes, I just find them entertaining.

 

Like what you want to, who cares.

I find guys like Total Biscuit and Jim Sterling infinitely more annoying than Dunkey.

 

I wish Jim did more written reviews, that’s his true talent in my opinion.

 

That dude’s video about IGN was really stupid. I don’t know much else about him, but i don’t think he’s very funny and i think his attitude in that video was really shitty.

 

Battlefront campaign was incredible

 

The Han Solo level had me longing for his own game, it was fantastic.

 

That would be AMAZING.

 

Like make it about Han between the two trilogies just running doing badass smuggler stuff, I’d buy it.

I’ve been a diehard Giantbomb fan for years, but that’s a little different. I genuinely feel like they are the best in their field though.

 

His Power Drill Massacre video is hysterical

 

Dunkey's good for LoL and OW crap, anything else is very hit or miss.

 

Dunkey or whatever his fucking name is accused IGN of payola because because he disgreed with them on something. That is Gamergate level toxicity.

 

IGN has been rather well known for giving certain high profile games glowing reviews while heavily advertising them when other publications did not in the past. In fact, that accusation is rather common in the gaming community so it’s not just him.

 

Yeah well the president of the United States says that the New York Times is fake news. He's wrong and the IGN conspiracy theorists are wrong. I've never actually heard any serious person from within the media say this. As if they'd ever be able to keep that a secret anyway. GameSpot tried this exactly once almost a decade ago and it blew up in their faces spectacularly (it's why GiantBomb exists).

All you can blame IGN for in some cases is bad criticism, to which I'd say welcome to video games media. Critics that aren't either way too susceptible to "video game magic" (IGN critics often fall under this category, but not just them) or way too cynical are rare.

 

Plus, does he produce content for Amazon?
