Braun was the focus. HHH was there to give Braun his moment. I feel like there were far better ways to give Braun the moment but I kinda understand what they were going for

They want their Roman/Brock match. Whatever. Braun vs HHH will be fun, and hopefully Braun can take the title off Roman after a couple of months.

 

Disappointing ppv. Watch the last 5 minitues... nothing else mattered.

Of course HHH/Orton/Angle/Shane are gonna go over the NXT guys - it’s why this company is so fucking dumb

 

Stroman deserves the title.

Thats my problem. Felt the same as the Asuka "victory" in the womens match. Compared to last year, this one fell pretty flat

 

AJ vs Brock, Usos vs Bar, Bliss vs Charlotte were all really good and lived up to the hype

New Day vs Shield wasn't as good as they could've put on, but was still a fun solid match

PPV had the potential to be A+ and wasn't, but I think it still at least gets a B in my book.

 

WWE should have put Braun over Brock at No Mercy still

 

Worst part is I see no way he gets it in the next 6 months. 6 months ago, Strowman was making Roman bleed internally after beating him at the PPV, and then being out injured. Trying to write another 6 months of stories and keep him hot til the title is gonna be tough.

He can kill Joe and HHH til the Rumble, but not sure after that

 

Count me in as a B-. A better booked main event probably makes it a B+, but, that womens match was a real cluster.

I think the biggest problem is the matches that were good, they dont matter tomorrow at all. And the matches that matter...aside from Braun/HHH at the end...what did they set up?

Also, RAW is starting tomorrow with a 20min Steph/HHH promo...its true, it's damn true

 

a very good point. But wrestling isn't just about the long term stories. Put on good in ring performances and doesn't really matter there are no long term implications. And we got a bunch of good in ring performances so I'm happy enough, just bummed they wasted so many opportunities with the main event.

 

For sure, that AJ/Brock match alone made the PPV worth it. Bar/Usos and Charlotte/Alexa were solid too. On any brand PPV, we'd consider that really damn good.

 

Also Kurt Angle looked like he was wrestling in cement shoes

Stroman needs the title. Period. WWE is going the Ryback route with him and that is not good.

 

Jason Jordan not appearing makes no sense at all.

 

Yeah so all this sets up a pointless and surely subpar Braun HHH match and little else. Maybe Shane Angle? But who really cares about that. It should be Jordan, but that was not furthered at all... I don’t know.
