Funny story...

I sent my friend who operates heavy machinery in a quarry for a living the link to Built This Pool this morning, and his response was hilarious:

"Do you know how much of a pain in the ass it was for me to listen to this? I had to shut down my rig, pretend to have to go to the bathroom, dig my headphones out of my by bag, and spend 10 minutes trying to get my stupid case off my phone so the headphones would plug in, because there was no way I was waiting until lunch to listen to new Blink. You couldn't have told me this was only 15 seconds long? lol"

 

Totally worth it, though. hahaha. Awesome story

With regards to the pit/seats/lawn discussion a couple pages back, I know I sound like a snob but honestly would rather not go to a show than have to be in seats. Going to shows for me has always been about jumping around and releasing all that energy, the pit is the one place that keeps me feeling young haha

 

I would have still gone if I could only get seats, but I'm in the same boat. I just turned 26 and I love being in the middle of it all! The pit is an exciting place and in my opinion, the most fun way to enjoy the show... Not that there is anything wrong with seats!

 

I couldn't agree more to this...this will be my 10th time seeing blink. One time I went to three shows on one tour (Honda civic) and one of the three I got lawn and it wasn't miserable but it wasn't the same...I was so damn far away it was killing me!

I told myself I would get pit from here on out for every blink show. So to make up for that one lawn experience I got the "feeling this" package for my wife and I for Chicago...with pit tickets of course haha.

 

Just wanted to say that the Mark, Tom, and Travis Show version of "Pathetic" is so great.

 

Listened to this on the ride into work today. I love that whole album but they killed it on that one.

 

That album is great.

 

I'm a short guy , so the middle of the pit isn't the place for me haha. 3 years ago when they were doing that small run of intimate shows at small venues, I saw them at starland ballroom and I was in the middle of the pit. As soon as they came on and started playing feeling this, everyone went absolutely nuts and, no hyperbole, I seriously almost died.

I got squished between a bunch of big, sweaty duded who were twice my size and I almost suffocated. Needless to say, once I finally got out of there, I stood off to the side for the rest of the night and just enjoyed the show, but it wasn't a good experience for me.

 

Also a short guy, I live on the side when I go to shows haha

 

alright. is buying GA tickets easier 1 by 1, or should I try and get 3 at once? how does it work if buying individually, does ticketmaster like hold on to each one for a few minutes for you or what?

 

1 by 1 may be easier, but you are taking a risk that you won't be able to find all three.

Do not start up a second order before your first is completed. I tried this in the presale, and having two orders in my cart at the same time canceled them both out.

 

People probably hate me at shows.... I'm nearly 6"4 and 190 and still attempting to get on top of people...not at blink, thats more jumping up and down and just having fun....more so at NFG shows where I cannot fucking contain my excitement. You can see me literally walking on kids heads in my profile pic lol.

I will always be the first one though to help kids up onto my shoulders so they can crowd surf or move them in front of me if they're super short, because I know I can surely block a view ha

It's all good! I was still able to get exactly what I wanted by searching again, haha. Presales were great.

 

Been an all time lurker of absolutepunk and now i'm starting to lurk around here. Anyway, i'm really liking what this chorusfm (blink) commmunity is becoming.

 

Anyone ever in the office and pause a song and unplug their headphones and the song you were listening to starts playing out loud? That just happened to me during Built This Pool.

 

That happened to me once on the train. I switched my headphones from iPhone to iPad and the iPhone played the bonus tracks littered with curses from TOYPAJ

And my headphones are noise isolating so i didn't realize it until maybe 3 songs in. that was dope

 

So everyone knows you wanna see some naked dudes now, nbd
