I have a PS4 and Xbox, so happy.

 

When the mcc patch comes, I hope they change the playlists to be specific to one game. Id kill to have a btb halo 1 playlist.

 

it is truly bizarre that this hasn't happened yet, idk how they ever thought constantly being forced to switch between 4 different control variants was the best way to go

This is the main thing that stopped me even trying to play that game. Every time I'd get a game people would vote for Halo 3. Dumb that they still haven't sorted it.

 

Or at least have a check box to check to prioritize which lobbies you get into.

 

Any brand loyalty or extreme favoritism is weird. I much prefer Sony this go around, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t kicked around the idea of picking up a One S for games like Sunset Overdrive, Forza, Cuphead, etc. or change the fact that I picked up a Switch literally just a few hours ago.

 

i'm not one of those "pc master race" assholes, but what is it about pc gaming that turns so many people off here? i get there are console exclusives, but aren't most xbox exclusives available on windows?

some people in this thread really do come across this way and it's very irksome and jarring. doesn't make the thread a fun place to be. it's just so tiring and repetitive. i just want us to talk about games we're playing, games that are being released, and general talk about platforms and consoles, not just re-hashing the console wars over and over. it's not important.

 

Consoles are still more accessible. Also, I travel with my Xbox, I couldn't with a tower. But yeah all Xbox first party games come to PC and if you buy them digitally you own both versions.

 

two things for me:

• cost of entry. i know i'd save money in the long run, but i still can't pull the trigger on the startup costs of building a relevant rig.
• social aspect. none of my friends have pcs, some of them don't even have laptops and just use tablets. not kidding when i say if i were to ask my friends if they knew what a gpu was, only one of them would. playing with them is so much more valuable to me.

 

Idk I like it, my internet just sucks a lot right now so I can't do a lot of it

 

The Play Anywhere feature is definitely really nice.

 

I personally have just always had very bad experiences with PC's, trying to play games on them and just using one as a computer. I always have way more issues and difficulty with computers than I ever do with consoles and my lack of knowledge on the insane amount of options out there makes it a very intimidating market that I've never had any real incentive to try and get into. I usually buy a console if there's a game I want to play on it that justifies the purchase and I've never really seen a PC exclusive that I've felt that urge to play that won't eventually come to a console.

 

I also like owning games and I don't particularly trust Valve.

I'll get a proper gaming PC one day but right now it doesn't make a lot of sense for me.

 

I have all of the main systems, I have no horse in a console war race. I get to play all exclusives, and enjoy them. If the game is multi platform, I purchase it on PS4 because that’s what most of my friends own. I just want to play good games, I don’t care what system they come out on

 

I doubt I'll ever get a gaming PC unless consoles die out and I'm fine with that. I love consoles.

 

my laptop was able to run Stardew at max settings with the Pokemon mod, all i'll ever need out of PC gaming lol
