I just saw that post by Jason that says next Friday was the announcement date. So can we assume preorders next week, digital download on December 1 and vinyl months down the road?

Coloring Book not being on Spotify means I haven't revisited it in ages. Just listening now and forgot how fucking groovy this shit is. I hope the new record has a bit of this as well as the batshit insanity.

 

Coloring Book didn't get enough love. I always wondered why it wasn't on Spotify but Our Color Green was.

 

Yea, Coloring Book needs to get on the streaming services. Does anyone remember when Our Color Green first appeared on Spotify? For a little while there I remember it being all live bootleg versions of every song haha.

 

i would guess they have the vinyl in hand to ship/arrive close to the release date

well i was late to that party.. i tried.

 

Yeah, I'm still sometimes baffled by the fact that the release that a fairly significant portion of fans consider to be their best isn't officially released digitally at all... Then I remember which band we're talking about and realize "Yeah, actually that seems exactly like them."

 

I'm imagining an alternate timeline where these guys truly became the "Deftones of post-hardcore" and put out a killer album every few years from Worship & Tribute on, continually evolving and pushing their sound in new directions, and it's making me sad lol. At least we're finally getting a new album though and an AMAZING one at that

 

Honestly I fully expect this to be their final album. I hope I'm proven wrong and they start being more active musically after this one hopefully does really well, but I just don't see it happening.
