tbh i only tried them once since the closest sonic to me is an hour away so my opinion isn't really valid lol

 

Is the consensus that Sonic is good? I've only been there once and I really don't remember how it was.

 

I don't think Sonic is anything special. I'm pretty burnt out on it, though. They have a great selection of slushies if you're into those.

@llllllllllllllll I don't know of any other place that has them besides legit restaurants/bars. Convenience is one of the perks of getting them at Sonic.

 

McDonalds has mozzarella sticks don't they?

 

I'd rather not go to McDonalds haha.

 

Since Jack in the Box has discontinued their mozz sticks the only places in town that has them are McDs and local delis. I actually prefer McDs. The deli versions are soooo greasy it makes me sick. But mozz sticks are no longer on the McDs menu here so I assumed they were phasing them out or something.

 

Sonic burgers are pretty good. The chicken tenders are alright if you're into that sort of thing. Tots are great, lots of slush flavors, and its one of the two best places to get milkshakes

 

They used to have spicy popcorn chicken. Too bad they got rid of it (i think).

 

Went to Earl Of Sandwich tonight in Las Vegas. One of my favorite sub places ever.

 

Sonic's burgers are good.

 

Arby's mozz sticks are p good

 

ok, is it just me or does anyone else feel like vomiting after eating movie popcorn

 

Haven't had it in nearly a decade. All about microwaveable kettle corn.

 

Got some of Sonic's "boneless wings" last night since they were half price. Wish I wouldn't have.

 

Sonic has really good milkshakes

I used to work somewhere that served movie theater popcorn and i'd have to make it every day and clean it out every day and I wasn't a big popcorn fan before but it totally turned me off even more. I'll eat a lil sometimes but generally not a huge fan.

Funny how some ppl have it in their head that it's better from a theater tho. My dept served it for free but ppl would go to the theater in the building to buy their popcorn and bring it back to my dept to eat it. they claimed it was better but it was the same exact kind.

 

To me what makes the movie theater popcorn better is the butter that's about the only discernible difference.

 

I don't get popcorn at the theater often because i can't justify $5-8 for that. Plus most theaters i go to now serve real food and beer so the choice is obvious

 

it's not even real butter in the chains which disturbs me

 

Correct, but something about it makes it delicious and better.

 

Watching a movie with popcorn is kind of a past time for me, but I can't justify paying $8 for a popcorn either. I'll get one every now and then if I happen to be there on discount day and it's only $2

 

I hate the movie theater snack system. "Would you like a thimble full of popcorn for $20 or a burlap sack full of popcorn that's $50 but you can refill it"?

 

I remember as a kid, my friend reached into the trash can at the theater and pulled out a large popcorn bucket. Was confused why he would do such a thing..

Free refills on large popcorns.

Kid was a genius.

 

HAHA. I've probably done that before. I know I've saved my bag/cup before for future visits.
