I was a guitarist that graduated to worship leader for my youth group from my sophomore to senior years in high school. Before and after practices, we would always jam out to Christian metalcore/hardcore. Our pastor was cool with it, but he would have to excuse himself to save his ears from the “screechy music”.

Yeah, he's a Boston Terrier and super cuddly. His name is Boby (long 'o' and long 'e' sounds). We think it was supposed to be Bobby, but the shelter only spelled it with one 'b' and we pronounced it with the long 'o' and long 'e' and it stuck.

I wanted a bulldog, but they're really expensive and hard to find at a shelter. We just got lucky that he was available during an adopt-a-thon a few years ago.

I'm not really hiding it, I just don't like to put it out publicly because I think I then have to post a disclaimer that my views do not necessarily represent the views of the company and blah blah blah boring lawyer talk blah blah blah.

Haha, I know that life. I was lead guitarist for the worship group in chapel (which is an absolutely hilarious fact if you were to know me irl). I ended up becoming great friends with the jazz teacher/worship organizer and we would always jam together and play metal and stuff. Those were the days.

Yeah, it just becomes more and more sensitive as more and more people say stupid things and get themselves into trouble online.

Semi-related: about a year ago there was a post on our internal website about requiring us to use 2-factor authentication for our email and saying we had to use our (personal) cell phones for this. I caused a bit of a stir with a public (to the company) comment asking if this meant the company was going to start reimbursing us for our cell phone/service.

Sorry. I was scrolling through the thread while I was using a grinding machine. I sliced my finger open, because I wasn’t paying attention. I guess I was randomly clicking stuff as I was writhing in pain.
Yes, I know I’m an idiot

@Larry David The Glorious Sons have a song called Gordie on their first record. Gonna to play that one tomorrow. Playing their first EP now called Shapeless Art. Underrated band.

You ok? Be careful. I know it can be hard sometimes because the content in this thread is so good but do your best.

yeah, that's a good question though. if they are requiring you to have a cell phone they should have some responsibility to supply that.

my company has something like that, but we can use personal email or text or phone call. I could probably get a phone from work if I really wanted to but I don't want to have all my personal stuff on their phone.
