Yeah they were really fun live, the couple of times I’ve seen them.

I'm not sure if @Colin Your Enthusiasm has mentioned them already in this thread, but he turned me onto a really good band yesterday: Can't Swim.

I've actually decided to hold off. Going the self control route. Will definitely check it out when it comes out tho. Their last was only okay but everything else prior to that has all been pretty solid. This new one from what Jason said and what little I've heard def sounds like it will be a return to form.

Really love @Bloodsucker II’s take on music. MisSigs is an all time favorite. My best friend and I had a long conversation about how Melodic Hardcore/Metal produced some amazing bands, but never dominated the music scene. Malice we both consider to be the holy grail of that genre. Influences bands even today, and aside from the production, it is some of the most intricate, creative metal pieces ever. So happy to find out they’re doing another album with Jesse.

Also my first concert was Whitney Houston.
    kiss my ass Bobby!

I was an idiot with music when I was younger, I used to order Ace of Base and Vertical Horizon albums from Columbia House

I once left a Weakerthans concert because I was bored

    You naive fool

Other great bands (IMO) that used to be on Ferret: A Life Once Lost, Boys Night Out, Poison the Well, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Zao.

Looking at this list made me feel real old: Ferret Music - Wikipedia

    Re: Solid State metalcore discussion

Haste the Day was probably my favorite from that era. Burning Bridges and When Everything Falls were great during my formative metal years. Jimmy Ryan is probably my favorite metalcore vocalist from that era. They had a lot of good underrated bands on that label back in the day: Becoming the Archetype, Trenches, Advent, As They Sleep. God, going through this list is making me feel old as shit.

    Re: First concert

First concert with family was Garth Brooks. First concert without parental units there was Between the Buried and Me.

Kennedy don't look under the spoiler tag a vote for mayo in the food thread gets you coupons to chick fil a or panda express or I'll do an ama, or I'll listen to a band/album of your choosing and give feedback, please help us. Dylan is a monster and doesn't deserve to win this. He was extremely rude to @Yasqueen4
