I think my number 1 metalcore album from that era is Scarlet’s This Was Always Meant To Fall Apart. I think it is criminally underrated and overlooked. It’s a perfect album imo.

Pretty sure they won a Grammy for that artwork lol, or were at least nominated. And if I’m not mistaken, the artist is the vocalist for Demon Hunter

That's a really good album, easily one of the best things Ferret ever put out. Now I'm gonna to opine about Ferret.

I believe it was him or his brother, it's one of the reasons why DH never tours because of their business if I remember right.

Every Time I Die and Killswitch Engage are probably the most famous of the alumni

Fun fact, I once made Howard very uncomfortable and got asked by Adam if anybody called me an asshole that day at a radio fest for wearing a pink camo Air Force tank top and had them sign it.

Speaking of Killswitch, Alive or Just Breathing and End of Heartache are perfect albums and I will die on that hill for them.

I can say that I've seen that band the most out of any band I've seen, it's gotta be at least 7-8 times.

I don’t have anything against em, just not my style. Adam D is amazing though.

Aww man, I missed the Solid State talk!

Haste the Day was one of the bands I saw at probably the weirdest show I’ve ever been to...

    Brokencyde
    Haste The Day
    Hollywood Undead
    Senses Fail

    .......

Bless The Martyr... is that album for me. It came out right before I went away to college and I have a lot of fond memories associated with it.

I remember buying the Luti-Kriss album right after it came out. Some good songs on that one too but easily my least favorite release of theirs.

I remember seeing them live for the first time in the summer of 2002 and it was a pretty crazy show.

On an unrelated note, does anybody remember the band Narcissus? They had a couple pretty solid releases in the early 00’s. They’re from northeastern Ohio close to me and I saw them play a few really small shows when I was in high school.
