I got like 8 kills or something in my second match of it and we won. But damn I really don't feel like I'm helping my team. I've tried tanks and healers and I'm just sucking horribly with them.

 

I got "play of the game" in my first match. The others were less successful. Probably not picking it up unless I can get it for really cheap.

 

Hey that's exactly where I stopped, haha. I didn't actually get to it last night, I finally got a good handle on Kholat and was able to beat it. That fucking game was tough man, damn, I felt like a cub scout trying to figure out how the fuck to read a russian compass and a map that doesn't show your position. It was worth it though, hell of a story.

Yeah the one in the building got me hard-fucking core...Reading notes is usually a safe zone in these games . Kholat for example had a lot of notes and no scares in the vicinity, so that one froze my blood. And I'm also sure that you noticed after the apparition disappears if you keep looking in the room there's like a fucked up mannequin staring at you in that blinking light. The Octopus scare was the one I was talking about that gave me nightmares and really stuck with me. That was utterly terrifying and it was so quick that I barely remember exactly what I saw (which is good)...I tried to ride it again and I noticed it that even though you can ride it it doesn't happen a second time, which made it even goddamn scarier. Did you notice that the scary top hat dude is the one controlling the ride while you're on it? He was there both times. He disappears as soon as you leave the ride though. The first time I saw him I was so fucking scared to leave the ride.

The one on the swan ride was the audio cue I was talking about. I think looking at Chad the Chipmunk is missable and it makes it really obvious that you should look around because the camera shakes and freaks out, that's what I meant by audio cues. I didn't know how to say that without sounding spoilery though, ha. And I assume that will happen at least one more time, something missable you have to look at while on a ride. That's just a guess though.

Yeah she's really good but I wish they wouldn't have given her a character design...She looks soooo fucking awful. Since it's first person they could have avoided that, it's like Speilberg had the sense to barely show the shark in the first Jaws because he knew it looked like shit. And I do love the call out stuff, because there are so many emotions, but when you're like me and you're constantly clicking the call out button it sounds weird to have her be like (playfully)"Oh stop Callum," then (terrified) "Mommy is scared CALLUM!" like a half second later, haha. It is cool that they are increasingly dire as it goes along.

I agree that the notes are bad. I have a huge tv so I was able to read them all, but I had to squint and it wasn't as easy as it should have been. Especially trying to read a newspaper, damn. Its smart for games to have a "read" option where you can just get the text without the fluff.

So did you have an immediate shock of terror when you thought you were going into the house of horror first like me? haha. I walked up to it and she was like, need a flashlight, and I was just like thank fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

I don't know where this is going storywise. It's obviously some sort of mental breakdown flashback thing, the bumper cars shock therapy pretty much cemented that. My guess is that game is about loss and a woman grieving about the death of her child, with the grieving process sort of symbolized by the attractions. But Idk. I'm wondering if she ever actually lost Callum in the park or if her brain is putting those two memories together, of her childhood and his.

I grabbed Fallout 4 today at GameStop for $30, seems like a win to me.

 

Yeah that Octopus ride one was fucking creepy cuz that thing was HUGE just like hovering over the entire thing, I was like OH SHIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTT!

I didn't ride anything again cuz I didn't wanna be freaked out again haha. Yeah I noticed he was in the control booth while the ride slowed down and was thinking he was gonna like speed the ride up or something like that. Thankfully he didn't, I don't know what I would've done!

Ah gotcha, yeah the camera shakiness is pretty crazy, really adds to the experience though cuz she's going through like a mental break or manic episode or something (similarly to Chad the Chipmunk murderer haha!). I did notice the design of her as well, like when you are in first person all you can see is her shoes, seriously? When there was a cutscene at the beginning the graphics and what not were good but it's weird in the first person view. I'm totally the same way, I just spam the hell outta the Call Out button and I agree!

OH YES! I saw the Haunted House and was thinking "Oh god, No i'm not ready for this yet, I REALLY don't wanna go in there!" hahaha.

Played a couple of hours of Overwatch. Damn its a fun game, super hectic and I dont know half of what the heroes do but it keeps me super engaged and enjoying it.
Playing mostly support/healer characters.

Holy shit you guys, I'm having so much fun with Overwatch. Not sure how much lasting value it'll have, but damn that beta is fun. Seriously considering picking it up now. Already preordered Uncharted 4, so its between Overwatch and No Man's Sky now...

 

Finally getting to play Overwatch today and it is everything I had hoped it would be. Loving it. Lucio is my dude.

 

I'm getting it on PS4.

 

Lucio is so fun when I'm in the mood for support. He's such a game changer, helps teams sooo much.

 

So far out of the characters I've tried I'm the best with Genji. I'm horrible with the cowboy and pretty good with the tank with the hammer.

Having to kill D.Va twice is always annoying. I was soooo bad with the rocket launcher, seems like there's barely any splash damage and I can't hit dead on worth shit.

Rocket Launcher doesn't feel like it does enough damage, but coupled with the ability to fly it balances out

 

likewise, haha. I like flying around though.

 

Yeah the flying is super fun.

I like Mei. I got over 9K damage blocked in my last match hehe

 

The fact that Nintendo's E3 is literally just Zelda and it's still the one I'm most looking forward to shows how big of a Zelda fanboy I am.

 

Haha, a mainline Zelda game is always a big deal.
