Losing my mind over the fact that I can play Rocket League on the go. Pocket League is GOAT. Also bought Jackbox Party Pack 2 because I figured those are good games to have on you for any time.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that Nintendo also chose Legendary and Universal to make the Pokémon movie, but maybe a Nintendo Cinematic Universe could be in the cards?

Nintendo Scoops Plenty of Nominations for The Game Awards

Not surprising, but still nice to see Nintendo getting the noms. BotW is going to win GOTY, I’ll be so surprised if it doesn’t.

 

Those awards are so dumb

 

Never been a fan of award shows either, but it’s good publicity at least.

 

Yeah I used to despise them but then I just kind of realized it's good publicity/bragging rights for the winners and doesn't really do any harm to the losers. Just kind of fun. haha.

 

I always like them as a way to organize my backlog. Tons of games came out this year, with GOTY awards, I can definitely prioritize them.

 

I don't hate awards in general, I mean these ones specifically are bad

 

I thought the only excuse for the game awards was the trailers.

 

I am not good at Rocket League. 80% of the time I zoom right by the ball or jump over it, ha.

 

I was so surprised to see that RL is only 20USD. I want to play it so badly but I’m not sure if my shitty internet can handle it.

 

Doom is so fun.

 

I thought that there was difficulty for the system to run Doom and that the framerate would get unbearable slow during more intense plays? I forgot where I read that though...

 

Played 3 hours last night in Campaign mode, didn’t notice a thing that was off. Caveat: I was playing strictly in portable mode last night. I’ll report back after I play in TV mode.

Yeah it's definitely a good time. I'll have a few games where I feel pretty good and then a game where someone is just soaring through the air and doing crazy shit that makes me question everything I know.

haha, seriously! if you haven't went into options and turned off cross platform play, I'd recommend it as you're more likely to play fellow newcomers

 

I can't wait to get some time to play some Rocket League with you peeps. Gonna have to figure out how to rip myself from Super Mario Odyssey though.

Did you guys not play on other platforms (PS4)?

 

I play on Xbox but will probably pick this up next week for Thanksgiving to play with the family.
