Yea I get that, even though I like the gameplay personally. I think 2 has the best actual gameplay. (Probably Infinite technically but it almost didn't even feel like playing Bioshock).

A full Rapture simulation/walkabout/whatever would be awesome though. It'd even be cool to get like a Telltale Games type thing with it (I've never actually played a Telltale game but I imagine it could translate to Rapture).

 

I that would be pretty cool, yeah. Telltale is hit or miss, like most things, but some of their entries are great

 

Either ghost story games or Hangar 13 are probably doing another Bioshock.

 

Honestly, going to Rapture in Infinite was one of the coolest moments I’ve ever experienced in a video game

 

If anyone wants a great indie-developed ARPG I highly recommend Grim Dawn by Crate Entertainment. Absolutely fantastic game, they just released a massive expansion pack that's incredible and have a lot of free content patches planned.

 

Yea honestly they did really tie everything up really well with all that. It could've gone so terribly but it all really came full circle and it was a ton of fun getting one last (?) revisit to Rapture. I need to play Infinite/Burial through again.

I don't know much about either of those, but I'm here for more Bioshock. I wonder what the next setting will be/how different the core game will be.

A few years ago, Strauss zelnick, the CEO of take two said their current Marin studio would be doing a bioshock entry, which their only marin studio is Hangar 13. mafia 3 wasn't the best, but Hangar 13 salvaged the mess that was given to them by 2k Czech lol. Hopefully they can make a good game from scratch.

Um. Excuse me? Where?

 

Since I currently have no money/job of my own I have three options

A) stay in San Diego, live with my grandparents but my girlfriend moves back to Colorado
B) move to just outside Portland with my mom (who I currently live with) and get to keep my girlfriend living with me
C) move to my girlfriend's family's house in Colorado

All options suck tbh. California is my life. I intend on living in LA within the next few years

 

Not yet! I played Maybe Baby EP and their first album Home. Tomorrow I will play Grow/Decompose and S/T

Those options do suck, sorry to hear that buddy.

1. San Diego is what you know, so that’s nice, though it’s also good to get out of your comfort zone.

2. Portland is new and might be challenging to get settled in, but it is an absolutely amazing city. It’s like my home away from home tbh. Haven’t been in a couple years and I miss it.

3. Thissss. Hmmm. You get the benefit of being with the gf, but living with their family? Eh, I dunno how much I’d like that. I’d probably go insane.

All I can say is, from experience, do what is best for you. What that means...I’m not sure, that’s for you decide. But you know deep down what is best for your wellbeing and future you will thank you

It wouldn't be Portland, though. Some small town outside of it and I haaaaate small towns. Not sure what the time frame is, my step dad has a job interview up there I guess. Kinda hoping it doesn't work out haha.

You didn’t ask for my opinion but I like option B. Portland is really cool, I’ll bet you’ll like it. Plus like you said, you’ll be back to lovely Ca in a few years.

Yeah I wasn’t expecting the first one to be that good. I remember I was up so late playing it for the first time, I slept through my alarm and was super late for work.
