Yeah prob won't ever bother picking that one up.

Need to laugh more than anything right now this whole BN fucked up situation is still ver much on my mind and taking its toll on me. Need to distract myself with other things. This thread being one of them. Curb soon to be another.

Ha, I haven't seen The Young Pope - I was just making a joke. I actually want to check that out sometime, but just haven't had the chance yet. If you do end up watching it, let me know how you like it!

Moonlight is an amazing movie. Definitely not good for laughs lol. I still highly recommend it though

    Agreed!

The only thing that disappointed me was that Mahershala Ali was only in the first act

So far nothing lost except maybe carpet!
It appears the toilet kept running and the tank started to overflow. From what I can figure it was doing this from like 3:30 till 5:30 when I woke up and realized something was wrong haha. Luckily it seems to as least have been clean water, as clean as it can be coming from that source...

One band I can see myself growing closer to now is Thrice. Also I really need to listen to The Dear Hunter much more often than I do. They have a new EP coming out in December so it will be a good reminder for me to check them out once the EP drops.

I'm now realizing just how much fucking time (and money) I've invested in BN over the years and it's pretty crazy. The good news is before this news broke I was starting to get into heavier music more again hence all the BMTH talk at the end in the BN thread. So open to suggestions. I need some cathartic shit but that is also melodic. Currently listening to the Fire EP by Thrice and that is fitting the bill pretty nicely.

The Dear Hunter is GOAT, tbh. I think Casey Crescenzo is a mad genius

So prolific one of the rare cases where their output is both quantity AND quality. I've only heard about half of the discography so definitely want to get around to the other half.

    Cool story about Casey,

I met him after a Coheed show that the Dear Hunter opened for and I asked him for a picture. We were outside of their bus. Security came over and said "Okay everyone needs to go" and Casey said "Oh no, it's okay I'm in the band." Security says, that's fine, but they need to go referring to me and my friends. Casey says "you want a picture. Here, start walking backwards away from the venue like security wants and we'll take it while we're walking away per his request" Such a cool guy. Also very thankful I got to see him perform with TREOS back in the day too!

And obviously Manchester Orchestra which they already were are very much up there for me although I haven't played ABMTTS in quite awhile. Still wonder what songs they will play on Kimmel Thursday.

Favorite Dear Hunter song is between "Red Hands" and "Black Sandy Beaches" for me

The last time I saw The Dear Hunter was last summer when they headlined and had O'Brother supporting them. It was awesome!

I'd have to give a lot of thought to what my favorite song of theirs is, but as far as albums go I'm partial to Act IV. All of their stuff is killer though.

Yeah Red Hands rules. I've got to think about it more what mine would be. That EP with Andy from the Color spectrum is so good.

Somewhat I've actually been relistening to them lately. El Mark EP and Our Color Green (The Singles). Does anyone know if Coloring Book is available for streaming anywhere. I've never heard it.

Not available for streaming on Apple Music/Spotify, but it's really good. You need to hear it:
