A bit random, but earlier on, I flashed back to the fact that the DVD single of The Rock Show was the first DVD I ever owned. Weird.

DVD singles seem super lame now, but at the time it was awesome. It had the All The Small Things video and scrolling lyrics with The Rock Show playing...I kinda hated that it didn't have the Rock Show video, but whatever. I played it loads anyway...my grandparents must've got sick of hearing it that summer.

(The second DVD I owned was ECW Heatwave '98, which is an absolutely incredible wrestling show - if anyone's got the WWE Network, check it out!)

Oh shit. I only just realised, Terry Crews from Brooklyn 99 is the police officer in the music video for Down. wuhht

i am so torn! pit tickets or lawn tickets?!

i haven't been in the pit for blink since the pop disaster tour, and i was really far away. the pit at the place they're playing at in SLC is really small, so there's no way it would be a bad view. BUTTTTT! it's like $75 BEFORE fees, some of my friends want to go, and my girlfriend wants to go (mostly because she wants to watch me geek out)...

ok, i'll just get lawn. $25.

My friends and I went for seats over pit tickets. We're too old, sore, and lazy to stand up for that long.

I know that's pathetic, I knew when I said it.

Since the One Month On thing was posted a page or so back, can we take a minute to just realise how great Chorus is? Such a clean, easy user experience. I was devastated about AP closing but Chorus fantastic. Jason did a fucking great job. Kinda romantic that both AP/ Chorus and Blink are beginning new chapters around the same time.

 

We got seats too. I actually think we are going to end up standing because I anticipate the folks in front of us to be standing. Plus, I refuse to sit at a Blink show. It will be nice for the openers though to sit and whatnot, especially after a day at work.

My bad, I had only heard three of the four then.

 

We, as in the whole group haven't discussed it much, but we are in for a treat. The fact that they are already doing practices and prepping for the tour that is over two months away for songs that are mostly muscle memory?! I mean, they are going to be sounding really good on this tour. None of this 2012 on and off night stuff.

The whole approach to making this record and touring for it just feels so right. You can just tell how much they care about Blink and it's so cool to see. I tried to temper my expectations, but once the song dropped and hearing these guys say the same stuff over and over, it's kind of hard to keep it in check.

100%. They seem very commited to putting on the best possible show they can, and as a fan, that's something I have a ton of respect for. In fact, this entire cycle to date has felt extremely calculated, in the sense that they want everything to be as tight as it can be. That kind of mantra is something I haven't felt from this band in a long time, and it's very exciting.

 

True true, it's like they've found a new found glorious appreciation for their success/band.
