watching raw right now. cant be said enough but this jason jordan angle is absolutely horrendous

 

The jason Jordan vs triple h feud is gonna suck

 

Jordan’s gonna go over like Curtis Axel did!

 

Curtis axel is way more over than Jordan and he doesn't even wrestle anymore

 

He's not even charasmatic when he plays madden

 

• Steph's promo was awesome, she has some of the best delivery in the game. I don't get everyone's hate towards her in this role. Weekly? Sure. But right now she's the asshole boss and her character has been a vehicle to call attention to all the loose ends fans complain about (Angle/Jordan nepotism, Cena being on Team Smackdown when he was last seen on Raw, etc). She's furthering a specific angle, not having 5 backstage segments a night to hand midcarders their asses.
• The Kurt/Jordan stuff was bad on a level I could barely endure. Truly awful. Jordan is such an athlete but this "Die Rocky Die" heat is only ever going to get worse unless they steer into it and turn him. Maybe the worst promo I've seen this year. That said, it was gold from HHH's music through the end.
• The recap packages for the women's Survivor Series match showed just how awesome Alicia is, she's made the whole angle and I hope she gets more going forward

 

Sunday is going to kick so much ass. Really excited for it for once

 

Steph buries the biggest baby faces in the company in a way that they can't recover. A lot of times it is completely unwarranted.

Mick, Bayley, Kurt, etc.

 

That would actually be a perfect 2nd pre-show match if they were doing the 2-hour pre-show. But it looks like preshow is at 6, start time at 7, so Im betting all we get is the CW match at like 6:30.

 

oh please, Kurt Angle can't recover from 5 minutes across the mic from Steph? he'll be over as all fuck on Sunday. Mick i understand more, but he was also very bad in the role, and Steph is one bullet on a list of ways Bayley has gone wrong.

I don't want her on TV every week, but her points last night made sense/furthered the fifth man bit.

 

The good news is that, so far, she hasnt been used that way. She didnt bury Roman or the Shield, and even her interaction with Kurt can be redeemeed by a SS win and/or going over HHH.

The Bayley one is legit though, because Steph doesnt actually play a true heel GM with the womens division. You cant have your tweener commish burying Bayley.

 

Steph's character is always wanting to be the true power figure, she's always going to breathe down the neck of whoever is in the GM role. I think a lot of the "Steph buries talent" is that these guys can't hang on her level in a promo. The situations where people have met her there (Dusty, Bryan feud, etc) have been gold. When someone can carry their weight, the Steph promos can really work and get heat on the story

 

But then Dusty got heat when he went back at her supposedly so I guess they don’t want anyone on her level

 

Well, the whole thing with that rumor was she was mad that he put his hand up and cut her off, which I imagine is a universal no no when working off a script live. Maybe Dusty should've "yes, and"ed, daddeh

 

Could of sworn they said it is a 2 hour pre-show on Raw last night.

 

I'd imagine she has a ton of control on if they even can go to her level on a promo. She's a one trick pony. I do agree though, she did a nice job last night. If she came out on big occasions only several times a year it would work.

 

Damn, you're right, just saw it updated. So im guessing they have to run out at least one more match.

 

I'm kind of mad we haven't gotten a real Seth styles match yet

 

Kurt is one of the biggest stars of the past 25 years or so. It makes no sense that Steph can just run him down and he can get all sad and "oh no I need this job what will happen to me if I get fired?"

No he fucking doesn't, it doesn't make any sense.

Steph's shtick is old and tired and it's even worse that she's a terrible actress.

I dont agree on the bad actor thing....but, the counterpoint may well be that because she cuts the same promo, with the same facial expressions and mannerisms every time, she's just very good at that one note. I have no idea if Steph is funny or can be sad or anything other than her "female angry Vince" routine.

Whereas we know HHH can hit the whole range. And so can Kurt and D-Bry. Shane is more hit or miss.

 

She can't deliver a believable line but that's fine we can disagree, I think she's Brie Bella bad
