I can't bring myself to buy DVDs or physical media at all really. Streaming is just too convenient, and don't like clutter of shelves of stuff. Have a small tub of DVDs that I'm thinking about getting rid of but haven't yet.

 

Wanted to add especially with kids running around the less stuff I have out like DVDs or cds that require care, plus not wanting to spend a ton of money on DVDs of dumb kids shows that I easily watch on Netflix, hulu, prime or torrent. There's just no benefit to me to own those things at this point.

Also I have a collectors personality which can quickly turn into addiction/obsessive collecting/hoarding.

 

I’m the opposite. I prefer owning something physical I can hold, and music wise I Feel CDs sound better than digital versions

 

I'm all digital on videogames, however, I usually do CD's and then I buy the 4K Blu-Rays. 4K streams are garbage.

I watched "Daddy's Home" last night. Horrible movie, but now I want to see the second lol.

 

A few observations from running errands today:
It’s really annoying seeing obviously able-bodied teens playing around on store provided electric scooters meant for the disabled and elderly.

It’s really awkward when a stranger out in public notices you were noticing them checking out your SO.

 

@ComedownMachine I dunno when I’ll be in SD next but we should seriously grab a beer and commiserate

PS4 is all digital, try to physical on Switch due to the limited space.

I will agree that physical media sounds better, I just never use even the cds I have so no point in buying more.

I should admit that I don't have great taste in movies.

 

If I'm buying music I tend to buy vinyl. I rarely listen to them but records make great framed artwork and I can support an artist other than the small amount they get from streaming.

 

It's still showing up the same for me.
