Submitted mine! Doing a really bare bones piano and vocal cover is way out of my comfort zone, but that made it a lot of fun to put together.

 

Sorry to be a pain but re-sending ours right now. Just made a couple edits on it. Delete the old one and use this one instead? Thanks a lot!

 

Gotta do vocals on my second cover today. Should have it sent in this evening!

 

Submitting mine now. It's been "done" for a week but I kept thinking I would mess with some effects more after not listening to it for a few days. After a couple listens I'm happy enough to just send it in. I tend to go overboard in post-production so, I'm just going to leave it alone, haha.

 

Also, I guess I should start re-thinking what I want to do for my "Songs of 2017" submission. Since I didn't finish Same Logic for the Brand New 2 tribute I was going to finish it up for the EOTY comp... now I don't think I want that song associated with me. - I'm definitely glad that I didn't do Me Vs Maradona Vs Elvis like I called out.

Hmm. I have a file on garageband and it sends out as an m4a. does that work or no??? should I upload it to soundcloud or seomthing?

.m4a is fine. If you can import to iTunes or whatever and create an MP3 version that would be better.

@elemenohpe Raised a good point with me; the track that's last sometimes doesn't get listened to. So I've aimed to put an "interesting" choice as the final track to try and sway that trend. So to the person I have put last (at this point), you're cover is good and interesting, and that's why you are last. Not because I don't want people to listen to it.

 

Damien my second cover is almost done, getting my girlfriend to do some harmonies right now! Just giving a heads up that I'm not leaving you hanging haha
