I absolutely believe in sex addiction, but most people with sex addiction don't violate minors.

 

Sorry guys, but i will be looking at this the same as heroin addiction. These people are still human, and they probably don’t feel good about themselves and have tried to change on their own, but haven’t been able to tell anyone about their dark secrets and have been self medicating by drinking too much, drugs, jerking off 5 times a day, anything to make them feel better for a a few moments.Have you ever been through a 12 step program? What if these guys have been traumatized and passed it on to someone else? There’s more to this than you think.

Or maybe how about a guy in his twenties got really popular in the music scene and used that to his advantage to solicit nudes from an underage girl knowingly for years. I've seen addiction, this isn't a trait.

Like for fuck's sake relate it to one of your family members or somebody you care about. Consider it to be somebody not famous accused. You wouldn't sound that way or defend him. I have the mf's words on my chest, and I'm not even that blind.

 

Alright, you got me at the underage part. Still brain defiency, and I wouldn’t say that I’m necessarily defending HIM, but acknowledging that something is wrong with THEIR BRAINS.

Getting to the point now where I'm wondering if there'll be a statement at all rather than a when. It's been nearly 24 hours since this has broke and everyone involved has been silent. This isn't okay.

 

In the digital age its hard to be quiet on something like this. Someone will speak eventually, this isnt an album drop or something

I think it is possible to believe the victims, and simultaneously reserve overall judgement on Jesse's actions until the facts are entirely out. I think I am inclined to believe a victims account of the events, especially when there are multiple people who don't know each other coming forward. If that seems to imply Jesse's guilt, that's really more of an unintended consequence. There's no charges to be pressed at this point, so I don't really think a "presumption of innocence" applies like it would in a court of law.

It is difficult to "presume innocence" when, I really do not believe that there is much incentive to create fake sexual misconduct allegations, especially if you're publicly risking your private life, reputation and safety by coming forward. I also think the fact that various people seem to be confirming that they have at least known about these matters for years, including former band employees and Eddie from TBS, makes it look really unlikely that this is one bitter girl going after the band.

 

I dunno. When all the stuff with Moose Blood happened they may have addressed stuff with Glen but they've completely ignored everything with Eddie despite people still mentioning it. I know it's slightly different because they offered up a head and all but there are people getting away with it. I've just lost all faith at this point.

 

I missed Eddie confirming this. Where is that at??
