Are you drinking blends or single malts?

 

I had scotch with dinner on our honeymoon and it was great

 

real scotch... so single barrel stuff from Scotland ha

Yeah! I think some blends, like johnny walker, tend to not be as smokey, which is why I asked

I've never even actually had Walker ha. Is that not from Scotland I'm guessing?... why is it considered Scotch. Never thought of this before. Also real Scotch is never blended right?

 

Whisky made in Scotland is Scotch as far as I know. It can be blended or single malt, that definitely doesn't change if it is Scotch or not. Walker is great, but overpriced/rated.

 

Didn't know there was blends. I'm pretty sure every scotch I've had was single barrel.

I've got some Dalwhinnie 15 year and Glen Grant 10 year chilling in the fridge rn

I was just at the movies and I've never felt an entire theater recoil and heard so much booing as I did when they played a trailer for All the Money in the World and Kevin Spacey's name came up on screen.

Yeah, once I realized what movie it was for (and then when his name was proudly showcased towards the end of the trailer) I was shocked. Can't believe they didn't immediately pull the trailer or at least recut one without his role in it.

 

Scotch is the best. I’m poor so I can’t drink anything too pricey, but a Laphroaig 10 Year has been my go to. That is very smokey. Tastes like a campfire.
