I hope the victim is okay. I also hope the band addresses this, and addresses it well. I think this is a very shitty thing if true. But I also don’t want to say something Jesse did sometime around Deja means he’s still like that 14 years later. He should be held accountable. But I also don’t agree with a black and white view of people. Hopefully this gets sorted out soon.

Everyone that deserves to be exposed should be exposed. But sadly it has not always happened like that. The good that can come from this now unstoppable wave is systematically eliminated this from the world we live in 2017.

 

It's not about the "still", it's the fact that he did it, allegedly to multiple people, and it went unchecked for years.

 

If Glassjaw goes down too I will actually give up on everything I thought was sacred in my music history.

I mean, I always got the idea he was thinking back to his days as a band guy taking advantage of girls to sleep with them with that lyric in the context of having a daughter now and all that. Dude probably finally realizes “well fuck, someone could be pressuring her into sexualized situations the way I used to do to girls”

 

From the sounds of some of the accompanying accusations on that thread, he's continued bad habits with women for years.

 

The lead singer threw a chair into a wall and smashed an entire dressing room screaming at everyone around him while I was sitting in there with Andrew McMahon back in the day. Never seen anyone throw a tantrum like that and I still don't know what set him off.
