Keanu (Peter Atencio, 2016) Movie

Very into this

 

This is going to be great. Hopefully going to see it this weekend.

So I saw this movie last week (for free at an advance screening, awesome) and it was pretty good. I was laughing a lot. If you like the Key and Peele show I feel like you will like the movie. I mean I also might be biased because I fucking love kittens.

 

This looks great. Probably going to check it out on Tuesday.

 

This was not good, which is sad considering the talent involved.

This was fairly solid, but not really hilarious. One of those comedies that mostly gets by on the strength of its leads Still there was one actress making a cameo that stole the entire show for me

 

Same that cameo was everything

 

Thought this was maybe a little bit too long but I still laughed throughout the whole thing. I hope Key & Peele keep making a ton of movies

 

Yeah, just got back from this. Strong start for their film career. Echoing the sentiment above; it absolutely skates by on the chemistry of Key and Peele. Get those two a bomb script for their next movie and we're in for something special.

 

Mostly enjoyed this but the first ten minutes and last ten minutes were so 'formulaic action comedy' that it was almost unbearable

 

I can definitely give you that.

 

I liked it. Felt like a long K&P sketch, which is basically what I expected/wanted.

 

This wasn't very good. Felt like it was 3 hours long. Big disappointment.

 

I think these guys pretty much hit the nail on the head.

 

I don't know what people expected from this. Was it as great as their show? No, but it was a fun 90 minutes. And seeing Will Forte is Cross Colours was enough reason for me to like this.

Sorry to bump such an old thread but me and some friends watched this last night, and we all absolutely loved this. Thought it was hilarious and loved the action.
