Perhaps my favorite scene

Also maybe Treme will be the next HBO show I binge.

 

I can't find the clip on YouTube, but my favorite moment is when Herc learns that Little Kevin is ironic and just has this look of disbelief at how easily he was played. It is just a sign of how dumb Herc is while also thinking he is this great cop due to his stripes (earned through blackmail potential).

I'm stalled at the beginning of season five right now. Haven't watched in weeks.

 

But you're so close...season 5 is the shortest too

 

I find the main storyline in season 5 to be the weakest the fake serial killer but it still has some great moments

I’m actually doing a rewatch right now, and it’s amaizng.

 

S2 is better than I remember.

 

Absolutely love this show. I need to rewatch it soon.

 

Just started watching this for the first time and jeez... what a boring first episode. If it wasn't critically acclaimed, with the almost cliché promises of, "it gets better", I'd abandon it.

Anyway, I'll stick with it. Time for Episode 2.

 

Season two is my favorite season

 

3 or 4 for me

 

Season 2 might be the best of the show. It was such a change of pace that I wasn't ready for it the first time I saw it.

 

Season Two is far too on the nose. The speech that Frank gives about how the country used to build things is particularly cringeworthy. It is still great, but Season Four is the culmination of all of the greatest parts of the show.

 

I personally enjoyed that speech Frank gave. I felt for Frank. Four is probably the best, but I need to rewatch it soon anyway.

 

Season 4 the best season in television history imo.

 

4 is my fave but 3 is extremely close
4 definitely has the best iteration of the theme song

 

I'm going to have to rewatch because I've never heard anyone say season 2 was their favorite/the best. Not that it's wrong or anything.

 

I definitely enjoyed season 2 more the second time I watched it

 

I hated season two my first watch. Absolutely ADORED it on my second and after.

 

I really liked season 2, but season 4 was just too damn good. And I also really liked 5, even though I had heard before watching that it wasn't that good. Need to rewatch this show soon

 

Starting this show for the first time. First two episodes were good if not a little slow, but I enjoy things that take time to build.
