I think you’d like “A Crow Looked At Me”. My favorite Mount Eerie album is “Clear Moon” and this might sound weird but if you wanna give clear moon a shot, do it when you have to do a night drive.
It’s totally slow burner music. There is almost never verse chorus verse.

Nah i do that kind of stuff too ha. I can’t remember, have you listened to The Microphones? Because The Microphones and Mount Eerie is the same thing and The Glow Pt2 is my favorite favorite Phil Elverum album. And just one of my favorite albums ever.

Basically “A Crow Looked At Me” is probably the most immediate listen. “Clear Moon” and “The Glow Pt2” may take a few listens because they definitely weren’t immediate records for me. Also TGP2 is really long

 

Clear Moon is a great hiking album as well, if that's something you're into

This album was kind of a miss for me, but I love this performance

 

There is so much Mount Eerie content out there, i honestly haven’t listened to all of it

 

I haven't been to either of the Museums of Art at Balboa Park in a while but I feel like I always like SDMoA way more than Timken.

Anywho, with no description of the piece and not a whole lot of art theory knowledge, I would write about how the fact that everyone is looking away toward some off-canvas event while there is a god-like figure appearing in the background is telling of the nature of humans to give their attention to the things that make sense to them, that are right in front of them, as opposed to the more mystical or harder-to-comprehend aspects of our lives and experiences. People often want to focus on the here-and-now rather than the abject.

Or something. I don't know. That's my bullshit five minute answer for you lol
