I've seen numerous things as the deciding factor

bench points would be my guess though

I think I'm going to waste a waiver wire spot for Stephen Gostkowski. In this league the commissioner has upped the points of kicker so they actually matter a little bit and he's just a solid kicker that is consistent that will make it where I don't have to stream a kicker anymore.

Edit: also, got hit with the ol' lose both your QB's in a two week span luck. Lost Watson last week and lost Winston for at least two weeks (I'm thinking longer since their season is basically over). So, my "best" options at this point are:

    Eli Manning
    Ryan Fitzpatrick
    Blake Bortles
    Teddy Bridgewater?

I'm guessing I should target Fitzpatrick, but I don't know anymore. This has been the craziest year of fantasy football I've ever been a part of.

My RB's are Hyde, McCoy, Kamara, and Thompson so I threw a trade of Thompson for Stafford, but I'm not sure if he's gonna take it or not. He has Prescott and Mariota on the bench. I don't really see any reason to have more than 2 QB's, but I don't know.

Kickers can be very underrated. I have Matt Prater and he's been killing it. 27 points in the past 2 weeks. That'd be good numbers for a WR or a RB. I have Jake Elliot in another league and he's had a minimum of 10 points since Week 3.

Problem is, it's almost impossible to tell when a kicker will have opportunities. Obviously, the better offense, the better kicker.

Yeah the settings make it even crazier and kickers consistently score double digits each week so it really sucks when you get the kicker that only gets like 4 points:

Field Goals 0-19 Yards: 3 Points
Field Goals 20-29 Yards: 3 Points
Field Goals 30-39 Yards: 4 Points
Field Goals 40-49 Yards: 5 Points
Field Goals 50+ Yards: 6 Points
Field Goals Missed 0-19 Yards: -2 Points
Field Goals Missed 20-29 Yards: -1 Points
Point After Attempt Made: 1 Points

There have been a lot of weeks where I've seen the kickers get more than a players QB before. It adds a pretty fun element to the game and I was actually pretty surprised to see he was dropped. I'm not giving up a super high waiver spot for him. I'm currently at #8 because of all the recent moves I've had to make because of my WR's being shit and losing both of my QB's.

  5. Target Mariota. That's more realistic than Stafford.

He's in last place and fairly desperate for RB's at this point. He would basically need to win out and have some luck to make the playoffs so I'm hoping he will bite, but if he doesn't I'll just counteroffer for Mariota and if he says no to that I'll just pick up Fitzpatrick off the waivers and hope for the best lol.

Edit: No one will trade in either of the leagues I'm in and I hate it.

Someone is offering me this trade:

    Melvin Gordon
    Rishard Matthews

    for

    Kamara
    Benjamin or Crabtree

My WR's are Hopkins, Crabtree, Benjamin, Agahlor, Watkins
My RB's are Bell, Fournette, Kamara

    What should I do?

man your RBs would be DEADLY but your WRs would be a tad weak

    thats tough

That's my biggest fear. I don't really know if Gordon will produce an exceptionally higher amount of points over Kamara to warrant losing Crabtree or Benjamin in my lineup.

    Meet me in Montauk. Prestigious

My total disregard for bye weeks during the draft strikes again. Wentz and Carr both out this week.

I think that trade doesn’t really benefit either team unless you are high on the players you are receiving. Kamara is pretty valuable especially in PPR, but Gordon is the bellcow for now. That is real tough.

Haha, no worries dude. As a Lions fan, I just didn't expect them to be able to just roll like that after how the offense had performed the past couple weeks.

I just traded Gronk & Mark Ingram for Rishard Matthews & Kareem Hunt

I already have Jack Doyle and needed a WR for Tyreek Hill on a bye, plus gaining Hunt just sweetened the deal imo

  14. Titans D, Pats D or Giants D this week ? I'm leaning toward the Pats because of Denvers QB situation.

That’s the D I picked up for the week with Philly on a bye

  16. I'll roll with the Pats than, it makes me feel better I'm not the only one rolling with them.

Sorry, I wouldn't play the Patriots D on the road.

I know Denver stinks but the Patriots have the worst D in the league. Thats just me.

Fellas, you think benching Dez this week is a good idea? He’s dealing with a couple injuries that don’t have me optimistic even if he does play. My other receivers are JuJu, Landry, Marvin Jones Jr, & Teddy Ginn

Yeah with slim pickins as it is on the waivers this season, I’m still comfortable starting Pats D

I've never seen a league do it, and I'm not sure if it's possible to set it up this way, but my suggestion for a kicker would to just simply give them points per yards kicked. So if they kick a 42 yard field goal, it's 4.2 points or a 57 yard field goal it's 5.7 points. Every other position is based off yards, not sure why kickers aren't. (XP would still be 1 point).

My one league gives 4 points for 40+ and 5 points for 50+ and there may be a negative for FG missed, I don't remember.

I would NEVER let a bye week determine one of my draft picks. You pick the best players available, regardless of when their bye week is. Just hope you get a good streamer. Hell, I picked up Tayler last week to replace Brady and he scored 26 points

  23. Drewski

    Maybe so, maybe not.

Titans D offers good streamer value at home vs. Bengals. Bengals have given up the 6th most points to fantasy D/ST.

How many WR can you start? 2 and a flex?

Personally, I wouldn't sit Dez despite a tougher match-up and injuries (so long as he DOES play). But your other options are pretty good too. If I had to pick 3, I'd probably go Dez, Marvin and Landry

2 WR and a flex but my flex is already taken (I’ve got A Peterson in that spot). I decided to go with JuJu & Marvin Jones since Detroit’s playing Cleveland
