since the deadline got pushed back i decided to just write half of it today and call it productive. that seems plenty fair to me, considering i planned to do it all in one go and now i straight up don't have to

 

I did this exact thing a few weeks ago and got a B+. You good. I’m doing reading now for a paper due tomorrow and somehow I feel like I’m getting this done “early”

 

Hoping to clutch that A. I always feel like a straight A student when i do the reading haha

Same. Still considering double majoring and grad school and grappling with all the time that would add :^)

 

so my poli phil class is packed with lengthy readings all semester but we keep getting behind in the lectures and she keeps pushing the readings back. she has made two revised reading lists, and we're currently behind the latest updated one, so i don't really know what to read now, and she's not helpful at all; she just tells us to look at the revised syllabus. like, lady, we're almost a week behind in that list, how bout we slim down the amount of readings or move the classes a little faster. i mean its 2hr class so we should have enough time to get thru this shit.

Edit: got a C. Considering the fact that I didn’t really study, this ain’t so bad, but on my first glance I already see some really stupid mistakes and I’m like, “wtf was I thinking?”

 

went to check a syllabus to see what reading was due tomorrow. felt really on top of my shit. turns out there's a 10pg paper due along with the reading. time to write the best god damn "i fucked up, please spare my life" email i've ever written.

srsly. this is like a bad dream. my prof seems pretty laid back--she let someone have like an extra month for the last paper--but that always makes me feel even more bad for asking. i don't want to come off like i'm taking advantage of her chill

 

I feel like if you did this a lot then it’d be taking advantage, but if it’s just a one time thing then I think it’s fair to ask. So, did you get a response?

 

Since I hardly showed up over the past month, I missed out that the due date was pushed to Wednesday lol. Now the email I sent sounds even more pathetic but I still get what I need

 

I find it nearly impossible to do homework as of late. I’ve been laying down in bed for hours ignoring my studies. I have a presentation I have to give on Wednesday and I haven’t done any of the reading that I need to do before I can even begin forming my points. This is the worst I’ve ever been, no joke.

 

I have to write a 7 page argumentative essay about an art piece (there's hardly any info about this art piece online so I'm screwed) that's due in like 3 days that I haven't started...

so i got a presentation that is due next week and it was originally just supposed to be me. got an email from the prof today saying two students pushed their presentations back onto the day i have, and that we are now a group. okay, so i emailed these guys asking if i could focus on one of the readings that is not in the book, because i don't have the book. got only one response which was "would you guys want to meet up and discuss it?"

i kinda want to reciprocate the rudeness of not answering my question by not answering his, and just saying "i'm presenting on this article. i've already started on it. you guys can work out the other one." or am i being too petty? his response was just really frustrating. it was as if he completely ignored me. plus, this just sucks to be forced into a group a week before its due.

 

Lol, fuck group projects and fuck people who can’t answer questions properly, that is a big pet peeve of mine. I hate when I ask someone two questions in one sentence and they only answer one of my questions. It does not make sense to me. I don’t think it’s petty, just say you already did your presentation and it’s finished or something....i dunno.

Speaking of presentations. I have to give one in the morning and I still haven’t done the reading and I won’t be done with classes until 9pm. I know I’ll get it done but I feel fucked rn

For the sake of all of us in this thread, I can’t wait until this semester is over

 

yeah i'm about to email them and just say "i'm doing a presentation on this. you guys split up the other reading" and try to be as nice about it as possible.

i feel ya on working late tonight. i have a huge paper due tomorrow which i haven't done the reading for yet. thankfully its only a provisional grade so i can just rewrite it over the next couple weeks.

 

Welp.

Tonight in my California Culture class it was apparent that no one did the reading so she gave us a pop quiz and said depending on how well we did that would count as attendance and then we could go home. That’s great cause I need to work on my presentation. It’s bad but I certainly failed that quiz and don’t get the attendance.

Also, I failed my California Culture midterm. I looked at it and I thought I got an A and then I realized I was looking at the wrong thing and I got a fucking F. An F. I’ve never gotten an F in my life and honestly this was one of the ones I thought I actually did okay on. Fuck. And I never the paper for this class last week but I figured I’d be ok cause I thought I did well on the midterm.

I mean, it’s what I get for literally doing none of the readings but it still sucks. I gotta kick it into high gear. Thankfully the final is just a paper and I tend to do well on those

 

Sorry to hear that dude. As someone who has had plenty of F's, I can say its entirely possible to still save your overall grade.

 

Lol, you know how they theorize that the Native American’s couldn’t comprehend the Spanish ships because they had never seen anything like it before? That’s honestly how I feel right now. I was staring at the numbers and my brain just could not fucking calculate or understand what I was seeing haha.

Appreciate that, I hope you’re right. I honestly just want to pass this semester, I don’t even care at this point, as long as I get a C.

 

Here I am, 11pm, finally starting the reading I need to do so I can prepare my presentation I have to give in the morning. Yet again asking myself, "why the hell did you put it off until now when you had all weekend?" On the weekend of course i kept on telling myself that I had time and could push it back a day. I'm so sick of this cycle

i'm in the same boat, but its 2am here lol

my thoughts are all over the place right now. i was just randomly thinking about a presentation i have to do next month. its not a traditional presentation; we basically have to write an essay about the reading, read it aloud to the class from our seat, and ask two questions. i'm pretty damn sure i have a minor case of dyslexia, but since i can't figure out how to get an official diagnosis, i can't make arrangements with my profs to give me a little more time with shit. anyways, yea, reading aloud to this class is gonna fucking suck.
