Larry and Kate breaking was delightful

 

larry breaking was way funnier than whatever the hell that sketch was

 

Larry breaking at the end causing the rest of them to laugh was the only thing that saved that sketch

I actually kind of got the impression he was laughing how badly it bombed

 

That sketch was a mess.

 

That was a weird ending to that song

 

GOOD NEIGHBOR

 

I laughed more at that than almost the entire rest of the episode combined

 

They don’t let Beck and Kyle do their thing enough anymore.

 

idk what I just watched but it was amazing

 

"Can we talk...in private?" *takes half a step back*

 

Every time they do that sketch it kills me. Those transitions hahaha

 

Weirdly the two episodes hosted by comedians I love (Kumail and Larry) have been weaker than the ones with non-comic actors. Unfortunately, this was the weakest of the season so far, though there were definitely highlights.

 

Good not great ep

 

I often agree with the sentiment that when they have a really great guest they don’t ever deliver in terms of quality material for them. Like when it’s a non-comedian they feel like they have to try harder, whereas with people like Kumail and Larry they get lazy and think that their raw talent will save the day. It rarely does.

 

Holy shit that Good Neighbor sketch, which has to be a parody of the Tom Hanks episode of Family ties. Pretty solid episode considering the mediocre start this season

 

So it appears some people are not happy with Larry's monologue haha.

 

I didn't mind it and like Larry I'm Jewish, but I get why it would, this is also peak Larry David though

 

This is the same guy who wrote a Seinfeld episode about making out during a screening of Schindler’s List

 

Good Neighbor was great, need more of that regularly

 

Fresh Takes, WU, Good Neighbor, Ad Council all had me cracking up. Baby steps even got me a couple times. Maybe this is speaking more about the quality of the rest of this season, but I didn't think this one was that bad

 

Most mediocre start to a season in how long? At least 3 or 4 years

Probably the absolutely ridiculous shit he was saying. The sketch was horrendous, but it seemed like it was written for Larry David to break it.

 

So, there's a good chance Beyonce will show up in the Chance episode
