For fuck's sake, what is Adam doing with this youth group Kidz Bop shit? Who asked him to rap?

 

LMAO. Was not ready for the shit I just heard, oh yikes...

 

This is so unbelievably bad. Like I for real can’t believe how bad this is. Like, just so unfathomably lame. I listened to this alone and sill felt embarrassed.

 

I am very not alone which is good to see. I was like WTF? the minute I heard his voice. I honestly though Jason was trolling. The chorus kinda has something there but not enough.

this is really bad and it's making me feel guilty about loving one of his albums and liking a decent chunk of the others

 

...this is just not good. Damn, I guess I'm no longer his target audience. Oh well, at least he sounds like he's having fun?

He should stick to creating faux movie scores like he did all of last year. A lot of them were really good. This is just weird.

 

Was listening to Concrete and Gold again and paused it to listen to this based on what these comments were.....genuinely felt like those people who fall for the milk/OJ prank.

 

It feels very influenced by those pop rap-country songs. This is bad.

 

Horrible song aside, anyone notice that this is due to release June 2018?!?

 

He's releasing some of the songs on 3 "Reels" (EPs) before the record comes out.

 

Oh that makes more sense as long as it's not like the 50 John Mayer records we were promised this year

this is one of the worst songs i have ever heard. jesus.

 

I genuinely love All Things Bright and Beautiful. I like Ocean Eyes and Maybe I'm Dreaming. And at least enjoy The Midsummer Station. So this isn't coming from someone who already hates this band (like a TON of people)... This might be one of the worst songs I've ever heard. haha I thought the Ultraviolet EP from a few years ago was really cool. And it made me excited for the future of Owl City. But Mobile Orchestra was almost entirely bad outside of the Ultraviolet songs that were put on there. And now this is pretty well unlistenable.

Also, I'll echo that the album art is really really bad too.

 

A lot of sub-par to mediocre decision making went into this song.
