Also I feel like we should lump Unheard Voice with Page and Heart of Polka with ITWOD since those are the album sessions they were recorded during.

 

Heart of Polka was a reissue bonus track for Page and Unheard Voice was an itunes bonus track for ITWOD

 

I know but Heart of Polka was recorded after PA was released and Unheard Voice was recorded during the recording of PA. I don't care where we put them, though. Just throwing it out there.

 

Oh I didn't know Unheard Voice was recorded during Page Avenue since it was released with ITWOD. I knew Heart of Polka was in the Live in the Lou DVD and since it came with a reissue of Page Avenue I thought it was recorded at the same time.

 

Yeah I think you can still hear the Feldmann sound on Unheard Voice (granted I haven't listened to that song in years). I do remember them saying they cut it from Page because they thought it wasn't as good as the other songs. And Heart of Polka was recorded in 2004 for the Warped Tour comp but wasn't used. They were going to record it again for ITWOD but ended up not including it. You can see them tracking drums for it on the Our Time is Now DVD.

 

I should definitely watch more Behind the Scenes stuff. It's always interesting to know the story of the songs and why they got cut.

 

You should check out the Black Swan studio videos on YouTube if you haven't already. I think there's about eight of them. And the Live in the Lou/Bassassins and Our Time is Now DVDs are incredible.

 

I hope us pledges get another new song before this is out.

 

Has anyone listened to the 30 second samples of each new song on amazon? This album’s gonna be GOOD.

I listened to the clips once. Don't remember much in detail though. Sounded like a mix of heavier and softer songs.

Edit: Was going to go listen to them again but the album is gone from Amazon.
