Yeah the dashboard actually handles pretty well, feels smoother and cleaner than the other one which just felt clunky

 

re TLOU2, i think it's also that people are at a point where we're maybe a little weary of the emotions we can experience through photorealistic displays of brutality. it's not a morality judgment as much as the fact that - at least for me - there's enough pain in the world right now that i dont also need the hurtful destruction of humans in my recreation to experience emotions i hadn't been experiencing already.

$60 for a six month pass to play whatever I want is a very good deal imo. The true success of this will depend on two things though: The availability of the titles at any given time and whether or not you can do this at multiple locations or just one.

 

Also, really like those changes with the BF2 crates, it makes me feel better about getting it.

$30 is too much from what I've seen from this game and played of Fortnite. Not my cup of tea for that price. But $10? I'd be down for that lol.

 

No I legitimately thought I saw you guys talking about it launching in the summer.

 

Everyone says how great the Wii Metroid Prime Trilogy controls are, but I had to give up in frustration. A keyboard and mouse is much better for that kind of game.

 

They're terrible. Dual stick is so much better than those damn pointers. On top of that, Prime has always had weird (imo trash) controls even on the GCN.

 

I remember never having a complaint with the Prime controls. No, it's not Halo or a modern FPS with it being snappy and quick, but it plays well for the game that it is. "First Person Adventure.".

Prime one is so good. I highly suggest slogging through the controls for it if they are an issue. I'm not going to play through the game again, but I'd like to hook up my GCN and give it a spin again here soon.

 

As much as I enjoyed the plot and characters of Wolfenstein: The New Order, I'm still surprised at how totally invested I am in everything going on in 2. The game just keeps throwing fantastic stuff at me.

 

I get that it's not really a FPS, it's just that post-Halo FPS controls would make Metroid a better FPA. It was fine back then but it's hard to go back to now, with or without Wii Remote. That's just my opinion though.

 

All good. Agreed controls to today's standards would improve it. I remember not liking playing Corruption with the Wii remote and nun-chuck. Didn't like that it forced me to play that way(at least I think it forced).

Look at Splatoon 2 with split joycons. It's perfectly feasible to do it on Switch.
