Was hoping you’d show back up! :) I had a feeling that might be a highlight for you since it’s one of the few songs on the record where we play with time signature. I think due to mixing maybe some of that gets lost though, but towards the end I keep playing the 3/4 arpeggio part while everyone else goes into 4/4 and then there’s also, like, a duet of acoustic guitars mixed in there lowly that are in 5/4 and I feel like the overall effect ended up being kind of subliminally dizzying, if that makes any sense?
 I’m super appreciative you want to give it a listen!! I do hope you find something to like about it, but if not I’d absolutely still like to hear back from you.

Yea I was sort of just sitting back and enjoying the part so I didn’t count anything out but that’s really cool polyrhythmic stuff. I definitely could feel a shift in how I perceived the parts with the bass and drums kick in though. I’ll have thoughts on the whole album within the next couple of days

Sorry if I’m like overexplaining or anything I just know we have a shared interest in time signatures. Haha.

I listened a few times now. I had no idea what to expect going into this album, I've never listened to your band before this. This album was a pleasant surprise. The guitar tones are very nice, as almost everyone has commented. Track 5 ("Bruise On We") is such a banger....favorite track I think.

Absolutely love it. The guitar work is phenomenal and I love the experimenting with time signature. The bass and drums really stood out on the second half of the record. "This is the Last Time," "Bridge Over What," and "Happy Heart Broke You" are my favorites after two listens.

Headed out to Asheville this weekend for a friend's birthday. I've got your Snug date saved though and @Randall Mentzos is probably coming up for it too.

Some of the guitar work in Bridge Over What reminds me of TTNG

Ian Cohen tweeted about us last night, y’all. I promise I won’t forget about you when we’re playing stadiums next year.

Confirmed. This will be my next trip to NC! So excited Audrey. You're on my playlist for driving back down to Jax tomorrow morning, gonna really get to know this album.

I saw that you're playing with America Is A Mistake in Boone the night before, that's awesome!

Say hi to Corbin the bassist for me - his other band, an NC ska group called Vanilla Envelope, played with my band Terrain (plus my favorite local band DigDog) at a house show in Jacksonville in February. We've been trying to reconnect for a show in NC since then actually haha, maybe I'll come to that one too.

Yesterday I had a dumb idea and actually went through with it. Everyone watch this thing because I’m honestly so proud of how perfectly awful it is
