    man, I'm pretty Prestigious

If you're talking about what gets called in a live game situation, I don't see how the obviousness/severity of the violation couldn't be considered. They can't see everything (and can't call all 8 fouls on one play).

    Got a few hours... :worried:

  3. I've always said, teaching someone who has never played/seen basketball the rules of the game by watching a game is nearly impossible.

It's like Toronto and Miami both forgot how to shoot.

Something about Toronto's fans just bothers me, I guess I get the passion and happiness because they haven't gotten this far in forever but idk

Despite that missed dunk, Deng has been great in these playoffs.

watching toronto play is like watching a really bad Golden State. When someone does cut the other teammates are shocked and uncomfortably get the ball to the cutter late. Each time Barry says something about their sloppy "indecisive" play. Poor coaching. Teach give and go's, cuts, and just fundamental gameplay. How do these coaches get these jobs.

I'm pulling for toronto because that's my city.

They're real easy to root for if you don't just hate the Heat no matter what. Real interesting team.

Dragic killing it. They're going to be hard to beat if he can stay hot throughout the playoffs.

Raps should have hired Luke Walton. They and NY are probably the only teams that can compete in a bidding war with LA

Very late to the Spurs party in this thread, but I did want to address the Waiters contact on the inbound play.

At most levels you are correct that a warning or delay of game is given to the defender if they step over the line once. They do it again it's a technical foul. If the defender comes across and makes contact or intentionally swipes the ball away, a flagrant is usually assessed. With this being the inbounder initiating contact it's odd. At worst you have an inbound violation, but could go up to a flagrant. At most levels, that would probably be a tech to keep it consistent on both sides.

I think the NBA said it should be a common foul, so there is another example of the rules being assessed differently at different levels.
