that's tough. back in my show going days when I had no funds for tickets I would sometimes contact the bands on the show and ask if they could put me on a guest list, I'd always buy a shirt or CD from them to support them, since they make more money from that than they do from a ticket sales sometimes.


worked for me more than just a few times. probably saw about 8 different shows doing that, and was usually able to meet the band and thank them, buy merch and have them sign it.

I actually managed to do everything at Universal in one day. Not a single line for anything and the weather was great after that 100+ degree madness from last week. Didn't hang around LA after, just went home
I'll be there again in December for the Thom Yorke show and I'll spend the day there
