yeah I'm indifferent toward the dodgers. but I'm anti-texas teams. only exception is the spurs, they're ok but I'm a celtics fan.

can't stand houston as a place, or people that talk about houston being the best place in the world.

 

Its hard for me to be Anti-Dodgers since I'm closest to my Grandpa in life (RIP - to the point ill cry missing him thinking about him 4 years later) and he was a BK Dodgers fan. But.... either way... I guess I can't be mad I suppose... I just hope the Astros do for my friend lol.

Edit* Esp since shes from Houston gone thru all the recent shit, volunteered to help, she deserves a chip.

 

I can understand that, I’ve known some folks from Houston who do that. I have just dealt with way too many people who think LA is the greatest place on earth my whole life. San Diego is basically the less-successful middle child to big brother LA and the family favorite San Francisco lol.

I have a lot of respect for the Spurs, they’re good and aren’t in your face about it haha.

i like the spurs... but since the nba is my one open sport and i only care for the rockets (admitted liked the hornets as a kid) as a team i get behind.... yet kawhi is my fav player n Pop my fav coach cus obvs reasons haha. Outside that yeah, not much use for Texas sports outside hoping the best for my friend.

 

None taken, its sports, not like someone said fuck your own family haha. I grew up in a Bills/Giants family and I grew up in the 90s fresh after that Superbowl... I always had to dance/respect both sides lol. My grandpa only ever admitted to being a Dodgers & Mets fan ever so while I grew up obv after the Dodgers were long gone I took the Mets but Dodgers have a odd reminder of my Grandpa feel. Weird spot between wanting a friend win, but the feel for my Grandpa lol.

rocket's are fine I guess. don't really care about them. I've lived in tx my whole life and grew up in dallas as a packers fan. was not easy. haha.

 

oh trust me i get it, as a lil kid even as a Mets fans the Yankees fns felt oppressive.... there is oddly a lot of Cowboys fans here in NY... guess its a division/dynasty as ppl were growing up thing.

Honestly though I'm getting a little sick of SD (well, Chula Vista) but I'd very easily rather live here than anywhere outside of California

 

I was driving around in downtown LA yesterday and it was absolutely infuriating. It’ll take twentyfive minutes to go five miles. I’d rather live here than SD I think, but my experience of driving in SD has been a lot more pleasant.

 

I say that as a native San Diegan lol. I love this city, it just gets overlooked by LA and SF all the time. I can’t imagine living anywhere else in CA either, especially after living in SF for two years (and despite the fact I’ll be moving up to LA to be with my fiancée in the next few months). Maybe Santa Cruz or Monterey, but I would miss the city life.

I was dead set on moving to San Diego, I absolutely love it there, but I’m pretty happy I ended up in the South Bay. I feel like it’s more appropriate for my lifestyle than San Diego. At least from my experience.
