lol you're welcome. Incredibly ironic observation, because yikes...I'll watch 3 straight hours of stand-up, walk in to work the next day inspired and just about butcher every attempt at jokes. Much like Marlin in Finding Nemo trying to pull off sea cucumber/mollusk humor. We all have our moments, and lack thereof. He eventually nailed it in the end, so that's hopeful.

 

Andy and Kevin played solo sets at the same venue. I wish I could have gone to that because it would have been amazing, but I was in NOLA at the time. Also I saw The Uncluded there a few years ago and their energy fit the church vibe really well.

Unfortunately the mix was terrible last night for both Rozwell Kid and TWIABP. All of the instruments were really loud with a lot of feedback/whining/peaking and it was hard to hear any of the singing. I’ve heard this church/venue has had issues with full band setups so I can’t say I’m surprised, just disappointed.

I will be going back though for Julien Baker and Half Waif in December. They’ll both be perfect for the setup there.

i am thankfully somewhat decent at being naturally funny but i wont lie ive had plenty "go over like farts on a first date" jokes/moments too. but usually im the awkward quiet kid till I know ppl are cool to express self too. but with girls......? lets leave it at why im known as a friend dater lol!

The show was overall great, but the crowd got pretty shitty during the Deja songs. At one point a dude who was 100% methed out started staring and barking (legitimately like a dog) at me and my girlfriend because I had my arm up to prevent him from flying into her like he did a couples times already.

 

Speaking of pits can I speak of one of my craziest show mindfucks ever?

Went to a show in MA where Slayer and Manson were co-headlining and Bleeding Through was opening. SOMEHOW Bleeding Through was the only band to get a pit going. o.O
