I can't think of anyone that would be in the category they are in.

 

Darren Young has always felt like the type of guy that could have used NXT in its current iteration to really make a name for himself, but was unfortuantely a year or two late. Summer was always such wasted talent. Real shame.

 

Lol if they were gonna release Emma why didn’t Asuka beat her in like 45 seconds?

Its an interesting convo to have. The tricky thing is not asking for too much to get booked or else you are shit out of luck. Ive been hearing Cody went anywhere and wasnt too greedy which helped him reach his status now big time. Some other guys we don't ever see because they ignore any humility and charge way too much to be booked.

 

tbh, I think Dolph would spend a lot of his efforts towards comedy/hollywood before he, like, went to bullet club.

 

Feel kinda bad for Emma and Summer. Darren too but to a lesser extent.

i saw that, i don't really know his character/role in wrestling as i don't know him. but could it be just to generate heat initially, or is he just that insensitive?

 

and the final chapter of what will be the most fascinating shoot interview ever is complete with Emma's sudden release. Amazing! Her career is one of the most bizarre usages of a talent i've ever seen. She was basically never given ANY chance to do something with anything. They give her the "bobble popper" thing, which was kinda dorky and cute in a way, and they paired her with a dying Santino and that was literally the only chance she ever got with that character. By the way..she did well with what her character was supposed to be, but the WWE decided to not do anything with it.

Then she's sent back to NxT where she develops a heel persona and actually does quite well with it. Even though she didn't do bad with the face gimmick, some could say she "jump started" her career back up with a good heel character. She's finally brought back up and unfortunately gets injured. Emma's only fault is this moment where she was called up as the heel emma and seemed like she was going to have a normal career for once, but got hurt. You would think no big deal. Wrong! Very big deal. They decide to scrap the entire Emma heel character (a character that never got to do anything on the main roster and would've worked fine)...and give her Emmalina. We don't have to go into much detail with this...although it will be the most interesting part of the shoot interview. They give her a character which she isn't comfortable or good at doing, but instead of finding that out before hand, they do the 'coming soon' for months, realizing they have no plans.

After months of that shit, she comes out and reveals "I'm not good at Emmalina and we had no plans, so im just going to go back to that heel character" (BURIED!) I've never seen such a tarnishing moment in someones career like that. That's so fucking embarassing...why would they do that to her? Overcoming that seems impossible.

So then 2017 comes along and now she's the heel Emma character, but never given any push even in the slightest bit. in fact a few months in, they give her this god awful theme to replace the only thing she had going for her.

odd thing is...she still had a fanbase that wanted to see her succeed. mostly because we Never EVERRR got to see what she could do on the main roster.

She's given the Asuka matches, where she looks good (wrestling fans go nuts because she didn't lose fast enough to Asuka)..

and then out of nowhere she's fired. In a brand split era where you'd think the WWE couldn't afford to lose female talent. Female talent that can work especially.


What the fuck happened...and who hated Emma? Did she have heat? Did she do something to cause heat? Guilty by association with zach ryder? Insane.

What a crazy run for Emma.

Also, wonder if this means Paige is closer to being back. Seeing how they try to keep a set number of women on each brand

 

He said "I guess Emma really wasnt ready for Asuka".

Which is a lazy joke, but, bad form for a fellow company employee. Never joke about someone losing a job
