Creep 2 was a lot of fun. Duplass is so good in this role.

Stayed up all night and watched the second season of Slasher. 10x's better than the first.

My girlfriend and I made it through seven hours of the 12 hour horror marathon we attended at the local theater. Walking out of a theater at 7am is weird. Anyway, it started with Night of the Living Dead and then it was Zombie (seriously incredible; hands down the best zombie movie I’ve ever watched), Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight, and The Funhouse. Awesome, awesome time.

On a side note, I’ll always have a soft spot for The Funhouse, but goddamn is the pacing atrocious.

Demon Knight! Now there's a horror movie I have not watched in quite some time. Jada Pinkett ftw!

Also, this was the first of two huge loogies Billy Zane catches in the face on camera! The next was Titanic.

Watched TCM for the first time last night. Controversial opinion here: it was great.

Watched a French film called Therapy last night. Took three tries because a) my short attention span (well documented in this thread and others) and b) it's French, so there are English subtitles. So glad I sat my ass down a third time, because I really enjoyed it. Don't want to spoil too much, but imo the actor playing the female cop really nailed the character's frustration and fear - wanting and needing that next piece of information, unsure if she can handle it but consumed by her determination to catch a killer. The ending though...idk. F'd up but true line from the older woman.

Raw was very good and fucked me up a bit.

That shot of her staring at the camera after biting her own arm during the sex scene sent chills down my spine

Anyone watched Slasher? I thought the first season was a lot of fun. Just watched ep 1 of season two and its off to a good start. Really looking forward to binging it.

Haha i've been talking to myself about it in here on the last two pages. Thought season 1 was pretty good, but the last 3 episodes there's a lot of idiotic decisions/choices people in those situations would never do. Season 2 is A LOT better. Loved it.

Definitely agree about the end of season one. It fell apart a little bit for me too. Your thoughts on season two have me excited.

Season 2 feels like a combination of the video game Until Dawn with the movie Identity to me haha. (I promise you this gives nothing away, just more so the aesthetic.)

Haha that'd be funny. I need to replay the game, I only ever got one ending and it was extremely grim/bleak. Everyone died except the black guy, and he got implicated for all the murders!

Also, I just have to ask, did you not laugh at how moronic Sarah suddenly is when she decides to try and take down the killer herself? Like, let me take him outside the bar and stab him in the stomach, definitely the best plan. Also, how the hell could the killer take a stab to the gut that way but chase her all the way home like nothing happened? I was dumbfounded considering how good the first half of the season was.

There were so many things about those last few episodes that had me perplexed. I could not for the life of me make sense of the mentality.

I could say the same for the Scream TV show though. Everything is fun until the execution of the last few episodes.

So true! I felt the exact same way. I may or may not have developed a crush on Carlson Young from that show.

@carrytheweird so I loved every bit of that. I feel like I should have seen the twist coming, as I suspected that person, but it was really well done. Definitely felt some strong Until Dawn vibes. Really hoping there is a third season. Not sure there is enough hype for it.

Glad to hear it! The twist was well done. I honestly hadn't caught on to it until pretty late, essentially when Wren was unsympathetic towards Noah. But even with that, I never caught on to the fact that no one ever directly acknowledges him not being present. A big giveaway which I caught is the lawyer when he goes to find Judith upstairs. She's gone and so is Wren, but when he comes downstairs he only mentions her. That's when I was like OOOOOHHHH!!!. And THEN they reveal who he is to her and it all fell into place for me. Really did a great job at letting it unfold I think.

Do not read above paragraph if Slasher season 2, which is pretty great, is something you're looking to watch.
