That's the final score. Sorry, tonight it was the Front Bottoms concert that delayed me. Fun fact: I first heard of TFB when they opened for MCS on the Go Tour.

Hold Me Down will join The a Future Freaks Me Out in the final bracket.

Personally would've picked LG Fuad (it's an all time favorite of mine and was the most emotional song for me at their final show - next to maybe I Can Feel You. But I completely get picking Hold Me Down. It's a crushingly beautiful song.

The Worst Part - I had to leave this one and come back to it. Can't believe I knocked Fell In Love Without You out of the first round twice. Good lord.

It Had To Be You - I really like Point of Extinction and when the album first came out I skipped It Had To Be You an embarrassing amount. One day, years ago, it just clicked though. Now I love it - "They say that what doesn't kill us makes us who we are" may be one of my favourite MCS lyrics.

This Is For Real - Can't Finish What You Started is one of the few MCS songs I don't really care for at all.

Even If It Kills Me - Woof, brutal.

Last Night - I love the acoustic version of Fell In Love Without You but Last Night may be my favourite MCS song when all is said and done.

Broken Heart - This is such a good album, picking favourites between so many of these songs is brutal.

 

My favorite album from them. Probably my favorite album from that 2000's "scene". I don't know if any one song is strong enough to win it all, though.
