I srsly just need a phone that'll last me like ten years and I'm set. But technology moves too fast

 

nope, over 3 years with the iphone 5s

one of my best friends had a flip phone until just last month, and was impossible to reach because it was so tiny and he, being the human disaster that he is, lost it literally always. i finally got him to sign up for a smartphone last month just because i sold him on moviepass with the caveat that it requires the smartphone app to use. texting him since autocorrect entered his life is like talking to a new person lol

 

What kind of sketchy business are they in

 

yeah, show me anyone who would buy an iphone 8 over an iphone 7 and i will show you someone who either doesn't research their purchases or is a little dumb

Nice, I wish I could use something like that to convince them! They're obsessed with being "off the grid". I thought after having a kid they'd finally cave and get them but nope.

I will never type as fast on a smartphone as I did with T9 in highschool.

 

who cares about having the newest phone that isn't doing it just to tell people they have the newest phone? I have never cared about that kind of stuff. just seems silly

 

Well iPhone 1 was 2008 and new iPhone 2 is 2017

I hated T9 haha. It was faster, but switching to QWERTY was life changing.

My friends all had phones in high school, but my parents still wouldn't let me have one. I brought my house phone to school as a joke. Little did I know, after some time, and a little distance, the house phone makes a LOUD beep every minute to tell you you're out of range. My teachers were pissed. I had to put it in my backpack in a locker with a bunch of stuff on top to muffle it

 

I can not wait to get rid of this T9 business 4everrr

 

I got the 8 plus but it was because I could get it for the exact same price I was paying for my old phone each month so it didn't bother me

 

I didn't get a phone till I was 22, I think

 

I also cannot wait to get high af tonight and watch season 3 of the leftovers. I need this
