If I see Marner on the 4th line making amazing plays to Matt Martin anymore I'm going to start cheering for the Jets.

Nitpicking, but JVR/Bozak/Marner are essentially the third line. Do you demote Komarov or Marleau from Kadri's wing when they've all been playing well and defensively responsible? The way Marner was playing before the demotion was without any heart, he just looked lost and had no passion. Last night was probably his best game of the season, and he's just lighting up shitty players.

Not saying Marner deserves the demotion, but if he's going to gain his confidence back by playing against weaker opposition, I'm all for it.

Rask needs to sit a game or at least be demoted to a lower line. Kuokkanen hasn't played in four games and I would rather see him than watch Rask & Ryan consistently flub chances & make awful passes.
