The music to the verses sound like a Foo Fighters rip off

 

I really wanted to like this song, but I don't at all. :(

 

I like the first song better because it was refreshing. This new one isn't the worst thing the've done though. Hopefully its a filler track.

Its also the shortest song on the album.

 

The album is 79 minutes long. There's going to be LOTS of filler on this thing, im sure.

I liked it. Sounds like one of the most the punk sounding songs they have ever done. Not sure how the Russians got ahold of this song and not others, unless maybe this song is the next single and will be released sometime in the next few days?

 

Eh, not a big fan of this one honestly.

I have been listening to nothing but The Pixies lately, so I am totally okay with raw.

It is a decent song. It sounds a lot like Lies era stuff. This album is shaping up to be really interesting.

 

Yeah I do like the full song a lot. I love that we've only heard two songs. Really gonna try to avoid any others before Friday

 

My flight is on Thursday. Hopefully I’ll have some version of this and the new Weezer album ready to go.

sounds like a demo version of a song

 

damn, my excitement level just went from 10/10 to 5/10

 

i didn't think i was going to like the song after hearing the first verse, but it actually came together to be a pretty kickass song, i love the raw sound of it. it sounds like a demo but in a good way, like a beloved old demo of a band in their youthful days. i'm happy to hear this album sounds really inspired and based on these two songs, we are going to get a range of genre as well.

 

Rob's voice sounds horrible on the new song. It's what I envision I would sound like if I tried to sing.

 

I definitely feel like this album is going to spend a lot of time stroking off Nirvana

 

and/or Michael Jackson (like the first single kinda does, especially vocally)

 

Over And Over Again music video is still great

 

He name-checks both MJ and Nirvana in Over and Over Again, so that would make sense haha

 

I still dig Rise Up Lights tbh, although less than Over and Over Again by quite a bit. I'm definitely intrigued for the full album.

 

So this comes out Friday eh. I'll check it out when it drops.
