    hmmm

The problem isn't that we didn't sell Coutinho, especially at the stage it was when he put in a transfer request. The problem is Klopp's attitude to the transfer market. The success rate of our transfers will be good under him but his reluctance to compromise on his ideal targets means we simply don't do enough.

Essentially, he's playing the long term game and taking risks in the short term. That's what happened in the summer. It doesn't take a genius to know that Lovren is a useless defender and easily upgraded. But because the Van Dijk deal took so long (entirely our fault) and because Klopp didn't want to settle for anyone else, we ended up not improving in a position that drastically needed it. Money wasn't a problem either.

Next summer is absolutely vital. If the same happens again, he'll find himself out of a job pretty soon.

Think the final Coutinho bid was in the 140 range. Kinda hoping we don’t go for him at all.

    On the Free from PSG

Was trying to forget about United's performance but the panthers just did the same exact thing.

Awful weekend, all thoughts towards brand new Wednesday.

Wow FCD scored some goals. Probably scared they're going to get moved to Austin too.

This happens in MLS, teams can go from having decent seasons to being complete train wrecks, hell, RBNY lost to L.A. like 4-0 back in May.

There was an Instagram post announcing this and I clicked on the comments to see what level of maturity was on display. Was not disappointed. Like 100 straight "nice" comments, haha.

I have almost nothing to moan about, oddly. Every single player in our team played well, ignoring that absolutely insane Cech/Monreal mix up.

One thing I will say is that I am starting to think we need a Cech replacement. He makes some great stops but I've noticed he has some strange concentration and judgement lapses. It makes me wonder if it's a product of our terrible goalkeeper coaching through.

I hear Juventus have a backup keeper who's meant to be pretty good. Kept a few clean sheets last season and is pretty cheap. 27-28 years old too which would be perfect.

Also, Gerry Peyton is the goalkeeping devil.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Going to be interesting to see how that turns out.

Can't help but wonder who was primarily behind Everton's signings this summer. If it was Koeman, he deserves to go, but if it was other people behind the scenes who created this ridiculous imbalanced team, then he's been pretty harshly treated.
