WWE does love to repeat their PPV matches the next night just so people who didn't watch can be told all the great things that they missed while watching a watered down version of the great things that they missed.

 

im alone on an island on this one. I thought the PPV was average at best. Balor vs AJ was a 5 star match though. that was obviously amazing.

 

tag match was very good. finn and aj were amazing obviously. my patience for the main event reallllly started to wear thin at the end. I still enjoyed it but the ridiculousness eventually got to me and hurt it a lot in my eyes. Didn't like the women's match as much as other people in this thread. Still easily an above average PPV and MILES better than what I thought it was going to be a week ago.

 

Did they address bray and roman's absence? Like..explain it? Didn't catch it..

 

Yeah, just said they were both out with a viral infection.

 

Main event was extremely fun. PPV was solid overall, much better than expected.

 

Our internet was completely down last night so I just finished, that show with a little fast forward magic was a blast. Angle stuff was a joy the whole time

I, for one, am very excited we have a new obnoxious heel in the thread to finally replace PPP. They are big shoes to fill, but @emeryk3 seems more than up to the task.

Honestly, it was so fucking hard for me to care about the main event. Especially when Kurt didn't get his own entrance. That absolutely killed it for me.

 

Kurt trying to be a cool dad with his two sons was great

 

I was shocked that Kurt didn't come back out in the singlet when his theme hit last night. Maybe they're saving the full thing for a bigger moment like Survivor Series or something.

 

Once Roman was out, I figured we were getting some trainwreck of a match. And from that side, it did not disappoint.

But that definitely felt like an MSG House show match, not the main event of a brand PPV. Which makes sense since their entire storyline got shot 48hrs before

 

Although, seeing Kurt getting the babyface booking Roman usually gets, it made it clear how silly it is for Roman. A Strowman table power slam believably ruins Kurt for 15mins and a backstage trip. For Roman though...
