haha fortunately for my brothers (mainly myself) I am the oldest and so I made all my brothers listen to what I did, and they continued down that "good music" path I paved for them, haha.

 

Surprised they only released one single for this with it coming out next week maybe we will get one tonight

No second pre-release single then I guess. Excited for next week to dive into this whole thing! Tbh it's pretty cool that we've only heard 1 out of 17 tracks.

 

I work at a record store in Canada. just got word it is on its way. Hopefully I have my hands on the full album by Monday.

 

So ready to listen to this in full, would be cool if it leaked within the next few days....

 

Excited to have this for my trip up to the Pacific Northwest. Should be perfect for it.

 

I truly think "Over and Over Again" is the best song this band has released since In Love and Death. Can't wait to hear the rest of this album next week.

Best since Vulnerable for me but the only song I liked more on there was I Come Alive. Still a bunch more from LFTL/SB I'd take over this song though.

 

I wonder if they haven’t released a second song yet after the positive reaction from the first so they can keep people curious and boost sales on release day when people check it out to see the rest of the direction.

 

Next week at this time our lives will have changed forever right?

This will be the best radio rock album released this year (besides Rise Against probably)

 

Piccolo knows Rise Against will be hard to beat.

 

A second song, Rise Up Lights, just leaked. I really like it, one of their most raw-sounding songs in a long time... and definitely way different than Over and Over Again. It seems like this album should be pretty diverse.

 

I dig it. It seems they are going for a more raw sounding direction (which most fans have been craving for years) to compensate for Bert not being able to scream anymore. It works quite well I think I prefer raw the used over more polished the used.

 

Man, I really hate that new song.

 

Loving the experimentation on this new track. For some reason it gave me Taking Back Sunday - Where You Want To Be-era vibes. Like I can see that version of Adam Lazzara singing this song haha. I think its the crazy sounding vocals in the outro and breakdown in the bridge.

 

Can't find the song but I googled it and a couple things popped up about how "rise up lights" sounds like "razor blades" with an australian accent lol
