I just listened to his standup for the first time this month cuz of Derek posting about him and he's very very good

the craziest part is paul wasn't trained in improv. he just started doing it with no training at like 40 haha. a gift from the comedy gods.

 

I feel like I'd have fun doing improv but it's hard to do anything that requires that much attentive outgoing dedication while having 2 kids

improv is so tough because if you don't gel with even one person in a group, it can all fall to pieces. the anxiety of that reality is too much

 

Improv is almost too much fun.

 

Work is miserable again

We’re starting back on 10 hour days on Monday because everyone I work with is slow and incompetent so I get to suffer because of it. More problems keep getting pushed to me because I’m the only one who can figure them out, but I literally have a mountain of work to get through

I know 10 hour days aren’t that bad but they mentally drain me and destroy my motivation to go home and exercise. I’m just bummed
