Yeah. SI said that they called every team in the early-late 20s about trading and the Seahawks were the only ones interested in talking. I can't believe more teams weren't interested.

The rumor I saw is the cowboys offered 2nd, 4th, and 6th, The Seahawks countered with 2nd and 3rd but they declined.

They chose a guy who is incredibly accurate and can quickly read a defense over a mobile Brandon Weeden for their offense that relies on the short-mid game.

 

I think the 5th year option for Seattle to keep was also a bigger deal with Denver.

Oh my god, that's horrifying.

 

12 players from the 2013 draft did not have their 5th-year options picked up... That's over a third..

 

There were 10 from 2012 that werent picked up, though one was because they signed an extension.

Looks like 11 from 2011 werent picked up.

Probably gonna be the best way to judge a 1st round draft class going forward. 2012 was strong because only 9 were cut/out of the league by the 5th year. Whereas 2013 is kind of a dumpster fire, especially in the top half of the draft

 

and then you have Dion Jordan whos contract was tolled lol

 

I think he has a good chance of having a very productive year. He's going to get a lot more looks with both Mike Neal and BJ Raji out of the mix and Mike Pennel gone for the first few games.
