Also, to each their own, but beer and company are literally what I live for

I get that. My problem is food. And I am pretty close with my family but they live 600 miles away so only get to see them a few times a year. If they lived here or I lived there we'd be over at each other's houses daily probably.

I've never really made friends since high school. I'm pretty introverted so even work stuff is difficult for me. But it's ok. I enjoy to relax by myself, and I'm very self conscious around people outside of my immediate family.

I recently moved about a 5min walk from my favourite bar. Very dangerous. Good thing I'm broke otherwise I'd live there.

I think it’s funny that this is the pic Apple/iTunes has for Brand New.

Also I’m listening to ”Desert” at 6 in the morning and it’s pretty perfect.

I saw The Hotelier mentioned before and I'm gonna just give my unpopular opinion that I don't get the hype... Same with Sorority Noise.

You can put these with my unpopular opinions during the brackets fiasco haha.

I don't really see how you can listen to an album like Goodness, or any of the others for that matter, and not at the very least respect the lyricism

I like Goodness but wasn't a fan of any of their earlier stuff. That latest Sorority Noise album is decent too but not something I go to that often.

When I worked for Chevron I was doing 60+ hours a week for over 2 years. After awhile it became so incredibly draining, it just wasn't worth the overtime.
Thankfully the price of oil tanked and I found myself working zero hours a week. Problem Solved:/

I still think Same Logic/Teeth is my favorite thing on here, only one I'm still not too fond of is 451.

If I don't like anything around the lyrics, I'm not going to get into just the lyrics. To me, you may as well just write a poem then.

I've tried listening a few times and there's just nothing for me to get into. I think there's one song on that album I don't mind, but I don't sit there and listen for lyrics, it's more like background noise.

Well Apple Music used to have the lyrics for the album, but I don’t know if they took them down because I don’t see them anymore.

I mean I completely disagree with the idea that there's nothing around the lyrics. I find it one of the more melodic, interesting albums to come out of whatever scene you call the music they make

And that's fine. But your point was about the lyrics, I already said I wasn't into their music as a whole haha.

451 and Batter Up are my least favorite, but I still really enjoy 451. Just compared to some of the other tracks, it doesn’t do a lot for me.

The intro to In the Water just grooves.

Please listen to Home like no place is there in full with the lyrics in front of you, it will change the way you listen to the band.

Hotelier is my favorite new wave band hands down

I dunno man, I don't really like his voice, or the instrumentation hahah.

I just don't think it's for me, and that's okay.

Ah they’ve got the best chord voicings tho... love their open tunings. Okay I’ll stop. Just want to hear people like that band they should be way bigger than they are.
