So on this play, Colton Sissons was awarded a goal (which stood) but also assessed a minor penalty for charging. Huh?

Refs:

 

Is the reasoning that the puck crosses the line and Sisson's picks up the penalty when the play is essentially dead...? Is that the rule?

Side note, this is kind of wild to me considering how long both of these teams have been around:

Logan Couture 4 point game is wild.
