That always annoyed me. Just why? Does having the record be a few songs longer actually effect anything? If the band saw those tracks to be the canon, then shouldn't their artistic license be respected? Plenty of bands release huge albums as standard?

 

It was a record label in 2011 dealing with a rock band. Don't expect any logic there haha

 

Yeah I always found that weird too it never made any sense but there was obvious friction between the band and the label especially over the amount of time it took them to finish recording and blink having to cancel their European tour to finish and they still went down to the last day until the deadline.

 

It's always bugged me how I didn't find out about Not Now until after the break up. I wish I could have heard it integrated in the Untitled album.

I've always asked where it would best fit in that album. I don't think it works as a closing song. But where...?

 

Only way is found out about it was my friend had a teal copy of the cd and it was the last song on the album.

 

I found it about Not Now by buying the Atticus comp it was on. I think the third one?

 

I loved those compilations.

Comps in general, really. I owned SO many.

 

I did back then. I would never buy them now. I listen to music by the album. I don’t have interest in stuff like comps anymore. They were great to find new music when you are a new fan though.

 

That was the only reason I'd buy them. To find new music. Like, I'd always buy comps from Victory Records, Fat, Epitaph, Vagrant, and all those "golden era" labels, because there were always new bands on there to discover and rare songs from bands I learned about through previous comps. And they were so affordable, even for my broke high school ass. Loved that shit! haha
