Not Now and What Went Wrong (although that one aged a bit)

 

Not Now is for sure one of my favorite blink songs as well as the “serious” toypaj bsides. Hey I’m sorry (if that counts) is also stellar

 

Not Now is my favorite song of all time. I do love Man Overboard.

 

What Went Wrong is my favorite B side. Still don't know how/why that wasn't included in the actual TOYPAJ album.

Man Overboard is such a great song. The overlapping vocals and the harmonies and the guitars are all pure blink.

Also it has really great lyrics that aren't childish.

There's no wasted moments in there either it just rips through at a million miles an hour and then ends.

 

I don't consider Man Overboard a B side, it was on every version of the MTTS album and was never considered a bonus/hidden song.

Between Man Overboard, No It Isn't and San Diego, Mark sure as hell knows how to write a good band member break up song.

 

I consider "Man Overboard" a b-side. It was technically a leftover Enema of the State song that they finished just to tack on something new to the live album.

 

It was on the enema demo (which is a treat). I always thought it was similar to not Now in that it would’ve been on the album if it were finished in time.

 

Not Now was finished in time though, it's on the international version of the album

There was something up with why Not Now never made it on the US Untitled albums. I think it had something to do with how the band literally finished tracking/mixing the album at the last minute before their deadline and just didn't get a chance to fully finish Not Now in time which really bothered Tom. But you're right that it is on all of the international versions of the album so I don't know why they would have left it off it is was fully completed.

 

Were the tracks on Neighborhoods deluxe edition considered bonus songs?

 

From my understanding, Neighborhoods Deluxe is the canon version but the label wanted to also sell a "standard"
